I just called Dwight, through my iGod phone... He said "I like this team", then I realised I dialed the wrong number and said "F U OTIS" and hung up.

Robbins reporting that the Gortat TPE might have been used on the Davis trade. I think he is just mistaking the smaller TPE we used on Von Wafer, I hope so at least.

its Otis we're talkin about here. It was probably:
Gortat TPE for BBD
Bass for resigned Wafer at $4mil per

Evan Dunlap brought an interesting point up in his article about Howard's lack of enthusiasm in last night's interview.
'm disinclined to believe Howard has already made up his mind to leave; I think he's conflicted, and his curt answers to certain questions Friday night were more a sign of fatigue--the Magic practiced for over three hours in their return to the floor--and frustration with the line of questioning than with genuine hostility, if that makes any sense. That he went through a Stan Van Gundy practice the day after celebrating his 26th birthday could also have contributed to the tone of his responses.

Don't read that allowing Dwight to talk to teams means he is out of Orlando... It means he can decide now if he really wants to leave.

Not till the 18th, perfect timing to get someone in before preseason begins.
