What's the source? It's going to be fun when the Lakers aren't the best team in their own building, but damn, LAL players/FO/fans have to be pissed that their deal got pulled and he ended up on the Clippers instead.

source was just watching ESPN2's Mike and Mike In the Morning... then the bottom SportsCenter scrolling breaking news alert popped up mentioning the deal.

then i checked twitter, insidehoops confirming the same... i just posted it ^^ ... apparently they had the jump/newsbreak on the deal in the middle of the night

Yeah but according to Otis, our talent are too similar (I mean, "duplicate talents"? really?") to those guys :-?

Otis has one LAST chance to right the ship.. Ellis is still out there to work a deal for (get a third team involved if need be)

Out of the 500 pages thus far.. I'd say 250 have been sadness/anger, 100 have been good/optimistic/hopefulness, and the other 150 have been pure entertainment/hilarity 8-)

Just watched the Dwight interview. Dude looks like he is really angry and holding back. In my opinion it doesn't matter if he is trying to blame the FO or not, there is obviously a problem with the relationship.

I have pretty much resigned myself to the fact that he will not be a member of the magic in the near future. My fear is that other stars will look at how this all went down and take the players side and figure that the magic FO treats stars like crap. So now we will be left without dwight, and no chance of landing a star in FA or via trades.

We are destined to have mid level guys trying to be stars, that otis will over pay for.

I can live with Jameer coming off the bench as our sixth man (like Jason Terry or JJ Barea), unless of course he is needed to make a deal with GSW work.

Not sure I see an Ellis deal happening soon. Wouldn't the Warriors want JRich in any deal with the Magic?

Mike and Mike is reporting that the Magic are (quote) "seeking teams outside of the 3 teams of NJ, LAL, and Dallas for a deal with Howard", while at the same time (quote) "holding out hope that they can still convince Howard to stay in Orlando"

Well Orlando... there won't be any hope for him staying if you don't get Ellis, Iggy, or somebody substantial that can help Howard

A lot of what Rudolph wrote is ringing true - the list, Otis not contacting Dwight for extended periods, Big Baby Davis signing. The problem with him is you don't know if he actually had sources or just stole that info from another reporter...
