*I had to put this one up early. I'm heading out for a while. I didn't want to come back, and have 3-5 different Part VII threads, just because I wasn't here to start one, and everyone became confused.
All right guys, you know the drill (6th was nearing ~100 pages maxed out). Let's continue with the discussion from Part I, II, III, IV, V, & VI.

There has to be something going on. We have way too many guards to be able to really play effectively. Whats the over under on the next trade or signing? Part 8?????

We have to be looking into some type of trade. But it will come out of no where as it always does. Orlando rarely leaks anything.

Everyone else knows that there are opportunities in bigger markets that are more readily available than in smaller ones. That is just a fact.
I would agree, ten years ago. Maybe even five. But the world has changed, and proximity doesn't mean crap any more when it comes to building a brand.
I grew up and went to college in a small town (New York City) before moving to Orlando. I've travelled all over the country and have spent time working on projects in just about every major metropolitan area, as well as some incredibly small burgs. Orlando, while not on par with New York or LA, is certainly in the second tier.
Is the market bigger in LA or Chicago or New York? Sure, but that doesn't mean D12 would have greater exposure there. he already has global exposure.
What he would have is an order of magnitude more idiots pestering him about how bad he sucked the night before on twitter or in public, because the scrutiny of fans in such locations is by nature more critical. If he thought he got hit with a backlash on Twitter over the past few days after his initial trade request became public, that was nothing compared to what would happen if the situation were duplicated in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, or LA.

It's gonna be complicated with these 2 threads, maybe the Mods can close the 8th thread & unlock it when this thread reaches 100pgs ??

If we can't get Ellis what are the chances we could pull a deal for Jackson? but now that i think about it with J-Rich resigned and Hedo still here what can we do? i mean Stan so far has nothing but good things to say about Hedo according to a couple days of training camp....Would Hedo be benched if we got SJAX? Would SJAX be able to emulate Hedo and run point-forward?

I just sent Mark a tweet asking him to trade Monta to Orlando. I bet he gets like 20 tweets a day, so he's gonna read it.
