I love Mya... you have no idea man lol... good post

GO MAGIC... this one will be tough... Pistons are another one of those teams that gives us trouble, no matter how good or bad they are... we have to get out in transition and get the ball moving quickly

Mya! 103-91 Magic. Good matchup Ryan vs. Jerebko. Looking forward to it.

Vegas is a bit skeptic of the Magic, and have Detroit at +3. But the computers love the Magic in this, as AccuScore has Orlando as the road favorite at 68%.

Tayshaun Prince is widely reported to be significantly bothered by his knee and has had "... admitted that he had trouble changing directions." Charlie Villanueva might not have worked himself into the lineup yet. With those two limited, depth and over-all talent looks low for Orlando.

I see this game as less of a test than the Toronto game. But all orad games in the NBA are a tough out. Especially as this is the second game of a BtB, on the road. The Pistons have had some rest and are on a "win-streak" in that they won a game. So there should be "some" confidence for the Pistons.

Still I see this as a comfortable Magic win; and with the O/U so low, at 183, one probably favors the Magic to both cover and claim the over. But I see this as a slow, sloppy game and would go with the covering and the under.

Orlando 96-82 Detroit

this will be a good barometer of just how well we build off a moral boosting win.

every win matters in a shortened season so the guys better take this seriously.

let's get this win boys!

Mya is serious. I would suck the fart out of her booty.

I think we come out sluggish again. This time, we won't recover. Stan has to use our bench players for energy (Wafer, Haper, Hughes). These guys have tons of energy since they haven't played and it will energize the rest of the team.

Yeah I hope Stan uses the bench a little more this game. I think it would be beneficial to the team.

Mya's ass has gotten a lot bigger since that pic.

Ryno-Jerebko is an interesting matchup. Jonas would've broken out last season had his year not ended so early. He's a pure energy guy that'll make Ryan earn his statistics tonight.

My big issue is the guard positions. Pistons have a lot of speed and Gordon as your sharpshooter.

This is already our 3rd back-to-back of 19. We've won the last 2 back end games of back-to-backs, let's see if we can do it again tonight.

I think this game won't be as difficult as the last one...They don't have a 7 footer hitting 3's....well they do have austin daye but he isn't at that level yet.....We've been playing really well but i kinda hope we get tested in this one....Stan has shown me he has a few new things in his bag of tricks but what i really want to see is us go up against a team that will use the "Stay home on the shooters" defense....I want to see if he has a counter to that...A consistent counter...So i'm hoping that Detroit uses that defense tonight to see how we defeat it

The Pistons can't be underestimated at all. They will look to give the Magic some hell tonight on defense. Like you said, transition is key. Also the Magic need to win the battle of the boards plus keep the slashers from gettin into the post. A tough matchup, but winnable.

BRING IT MAGIC!

Trap game. We need to come out swinging and try to put them away early.

I can't figure out why Vegas only has us favored by 3 points. I think they are overvaluing the fact that Detroit is at home and the fact that we had a tough game against Toronto last night.

If we were on normal rest and were playing at home, the spread would be in the double digits. Like I said, I think Vegas is overvaluing Detroit in this game. I say take Orlando -3.

I am 4-0-1 against the spread in Magic games this season.

GO MAGIC! Let's make it five in a row!

Since I am also a Pistons fan, I am up on both teams. The Pistons Frontcourt is small while going through major trouble defensively and on the boards. Really undersized. Anderson might be taller than the whole Pistons team.

At Center, Monroe is a nice 2nd year talent. Really a true solid starter at Center both offensively, defensively and on the boards. A good 20/10 guy. Solid and will be the teams staple for years.

At PF, Pistons are really weak here as they have been starting Jonas Jerebko, who missed all of last season after a major leg injury. He is only like 230lbs about 6'9" and really undersized. But, he is not quick enough to play SF (plus overcrowded position) and gets pushed around on the defensive end. Yet, he is very quick and talented. He posted like a 20/12 game against the Pacers and shut down David West New Years Eve. Hence, he is capable of tearing it up. Will be interesting seeing him against perimeter players like Anderson and Davis. I like Jonas alot for his aggressiveness, but he often gets mismatched because of his size. He can score, board and defend.

At SF, the ever consistent Tayshaun Prince. A true staple of the Pistons championship with his excellent Defense and veteran leadership. At his age now, he has taken a back seat and is more of a facilitator on offense. Regardless, I can't see Hedo getting away with as many drives or open shots against the 6'9" Prince with a huge wingspan. Prince is coming off injury and has been playing starters minutes, but that has greatly affected his movement and play. Still recovering.

At SG, Pistons have been starting Ben Gordon. Has been a disappointment ever since the Pistons signed him because his defense is horrible for this undersized SG. But, he is starting this year for the first time of his career and is putting up decent stats. He is trying on Defense. But, he is no Match for JJ and JRich who should be getting open or shooting easily over Gordon.

At PG, this is a Pistons strength because Stuckey is the solid veteran that is tall at 6'5" and can just about do it all. Not a huge shooter, but can score in the post or take it to the rack. Does not shoot many 3's. He will completely work Nelson with his drives and size.

Then, you got the rookie Brandon Knight to switch off with Stuckey/BG as Stuck and Knight switch off at PG/SG. They are both versatile. News on the Rookie is he is really aggressive and competetive. He will be a starter at some point this season because he has been the leading scorer off the bench. Very quick and has an all around game. His handle is a little shaky for the PG position, but he is getting better.

Even the Pistons 3rd string PG Will Bynum is very effective. He had a 20 assist game last season. He is about Nelsons size, but takes it to the rack and can score at will. I really like him. More of a scorer than a pass first PG.

Austin Daye: SF. Young cat that is still developing. He is a 6'10" SG/SF. Yep, he can shoot 3's like nothing and can score. Horrible on defense. Work in Progress.

Of course, the elder statesman, Ben Wallace (Former Magic Player in trade for Grant Hill) will get his 10-15 minutes per game. During those short spurts, he can still dominate defensively, which is amazing at his age.

Also, Charlie Villanueva is sitting out this one due to injuries and possible lack of conditioning. He is a good scorer, but one of the worst defensive PF's in the league.

Overall. Pistons are a borderline Playoff team. They are in the midst of rebuilding and are about 2 years off from being really solid. So, they really just have their moments and games, but are inconsistent. Sounds like the Raptors from last night.

I am even skipping my open Mic tonight for this one. -BMP

Second half of a back-to-back, on the road, against Detroit. I smell loss. So,

114-80 Magic.

The pg match up is something that is troubling for the magic in every game this season. this will be more of the same. energy in the begining is the key. howard for a 20/20.

I think all (3) Pistons PG's could do damage against the Magic. Just because all 3 are quick enough to get by the Magic defense.
