other than that, thanks for the GT. Are we positive Diaw will be starting? I am not sure but I think he was benched for some reason, I saw him coming off of the bench a couple of games.

I think the reason Diaw may have been benched may be due to conditioning. The guy really picked up weight in the offseason. It may have effected some parts of his game. Can't say for sure since I haven't seen him play recently.

I will be very, very angry if we lose this game. We were gifted this game by the scheduling gods to ease the pain of a back to back to back. Better take advantage and that means getting out to an early lead, then resting key guys in the 4th to prepare for tomorrow and LAL friday.

The baby-cats also played last night, so there is no reason for Orlando to not stomp this team down. Not only is Orlando more talented and a better team, Maggette is OUT, and White and Diop are not at 100%. If Diop does not play, Howard would be guarded by Boris Diaw, bad enough in itself, but this frees up Anderson to be guarded by Bismack Biyombo (assuming White is also out). Howard and Anderson could combine for 60 points. But they won't becasue Turkoglu will also have a field day, as Tyrus Thomas would be slated to guard him (Hedo always plays well when he does not spend energy on the defensive end).

The only "fair" matchups on the court are at PG with Nelson vs. Augustin, and SG with Richardson-2 vs. Henderson. And those are a push.

If Orlando wins by 1 I am happy. But realistically I expect Orlando to cover their -12.5 spread.

Charlotte puts in about 91 a game and give up about 102. To cover and be around those numbers, I say Magic 103 - Baby-cats 90. I also predict that all five starters will hit double figures scoring, and that at least 7 Magicians will hit double digits (Davis and Redick also) Maybe 8 might hit the number, if StM sees a blow-out and clears the bench. Wafer would be the logical choice, but I will go on a limb and say it will be Richardson-1.


Edit: I forgot that Richardson-2 won't play. So, I still see all five starters in double figures. And I still see 6 or seven total Magicians at that point. But not 8.

I say take Orlando -10.5 in this one. I am 6-4-2 when picking against the spread in Magic games this season.

Stan said he expected J-Rich back vs. the Lakers Friday. He may come back tomorrow though, no need for him tonight.

I can't wait to see Kemba again, he's exciting to watch when he's on. and, Tyrus Thomas is one of my favorite PFs to watch in the league.

You shouldn't have to explain yourself, I wouldn't quite yet call myself a vet on these boards, but I know you are as true a Magic fan as it gets on here and always enjoy to hear what you have to say on here. You should care about them winning though as an Orlando Magic fan. I know Dwight has requested a trade and he gives off a body language that states that he does not want to be here, but on the other hand, things can change in an instant.

People really should not have this defeatist attitude that he is as good as gone just cause his agent requested that his client be traded at the start of this season. Stranger things have happened in the NBA and he may just wind up staying here, we just need to keep winning. As a fan, I just focus on the here and now cause I cannot predict the future. I had a feeling that we would still be a competitive force in the NBA despite what people said and it is good to see that coming into fruition so far.

Now to my thoughts on the game...I really want to see Orlando take care of this team early as they have been playing the last 5 games in 6 nights and we were able to rest up a bit due to us having an early game yesterday. Play with high energy, move the ball and establish Dwight early and we will take this. LET'S GET IT!!!
