Good thread, thanks SD. Gemma :o

Lakers are coming off a lost to the Heat last night. They will be hungry for a win. So shall the Magic. Hopefully we have Hedo tonight.

Great thread SD and thank you sir for making me Google Gemma now, she is bad as hell... :o

Bounce back time! I hope we play with a bit of anger for letting that game against the Spurs slip away from us. We have to control the tempo and limit Bynum and Gasol as much as possible. If we do that, then it really is not going to matter what Kobe does. Hopefully Turk and J-Rich are back because we need as much depth as possible. Will be interesting to see the posts on this thread regarding Bynum vs. Dwight...

LET'S GET IT!!! 8-)

Adding my goodluck pic FTW...

I believe J-Rich is coming back this game(NOOOOOOOOO!!!!) but i think we win this game...I'm eager to see the matchup of the Big men.....Want to see if they play Dwight Straight up....I want Dwight to destroy Bynum...But of course anything can happen so i'm hoping that we win...I'm also hoping that if indeed J-Rich is back that he doesn't play Defense like a New york City Turnstile

Teams playing a BtB from Miami to Orlando always play poorly. This should be a good game for Orlando.

The best way to beat the Lakers, let Kobe become the Laker offense and force everyone else to earn their shots from the field. Meer needs to step up big. He owes the Magic one here. Against Fish, Meer is the quicker since Fish isn't the defensive player he once was.

AB vs. D-12- D-12 dominate this matchup.

Im not getting my hopes up on this one. The heat dominated them because of their defense .. I dont see us being quite as effective and we dont have anyone that can stop Kobe or Gasol ..Obviously we outshine them at Center and they are pretty disorganized on offense as a whole..thats about all we have going for us on this one.

I like our chances....We can hang with them offensively with us being in the top 5 in offensive efficiency and defensively we're always solid...Plus we definitely have the advantage when it comes to the bench...their bench is absolutely putrid....i think there was a game where their bench only contributed 3 points the whole game......They are also not a good 3pt shooting team...Either way it should be a good one....Just hope all their negatives stay negatives....Don't want them all of a sudden raining 3's on us...or Jason kapono or another one of their bench scrubs has a career night

Agreed. we don't match up with their strengths well. DH can cancel out Bynum, who guards Pau? I'm not sure RA can do it all game. and JJ/J-rich will struggle with Kobe.
I assume they will play DH 1on1.

Orlando is rested and mostly healthy; LAL are not rested and I can easily see Orlando winning this game.

This game will prove huge strength and ability diffirence between D 12 and Bynum ( unquestionably D12>Bynum for me)

Probably we will beat LA easily according to after exhausting game with Miami. But i still opposite play Redick and Anderson in lineup because of lack of experience.Of course, lack experience of these two guys will not attract our game in normal season. We need more experienced 4 number player ( like boozer or rashad lewis back) to contend üith chicago and miami.

Although JR playing pretty weak right now , but we need him on defensive side cuz, hedo+redick+nelson+anderson= no defense ... What do poor D12 do?

Can anybody give information about Hedo play tonight or not?

I wouldn't really call 4 games in 5 days rested, but hopefully the day off helped, especially meer

We need help on defense and you think J-Rich can help in that department? :dontknow:
Redick isn't an all-defensive team defender, but he's a lot better that J-Rich.

We should win this game. If we play with a purpose like we should every night, we should handle the Lakers well. If we lose, it'll simply because of a lack of energy and effort. There is no reason to lose tonight. Home floor, big game, national tv, Lakers coming off back to back, we outshine them in 3/5 positions in the starting lineup, and our bench (please play Von) is better. Defense will be the key.

Go Magic!

Edit:
John Denton @JohnDenton555 38m
The #Magic are still going through shootaround, but sounds like @jrich23 will likely play tonight vs. #Lakers. Hedo Turkoglu not so certain.

:( it won't end well without Turkoglu; could end up being a continuation of the last game.
