Every time we play the Bulls, Heat, or Hawks, I look right at Hedo. I don't think he has had one good game against any of those teams since coming back to Orlando. It's so frustrating to watch him just get out worked by Deng, James, and Smith. Again, I'll be looking right at Hedo during this game.

Bingo! Hedo has to show up.

He has to, but I doubt it, because Deng is a monster defensively.

when people match hedo's length AND when they are more athletic than him, Hedo produces ****.

Was reading the ESPN preview and came to the same conclusion. He and Ryan must hit their jumpers for Orlando to be competitive.

But the computers do like the Magic with an AccuScore at only 43% for Orlando to win this. Howard will outplay Noah by about the same amount Rose outplays Nelson. Richardson should play "push" ball at the Two, and Orlando needs scoring and offensive rebounding from Anderson to have a "push" game at the Four. So, it's all on Hedo. He tends to play poorly when he has to expend energy on defense, and Deng is unlikely to be that guy. Plus Orlando is on a days rest where Chicago in on a road-to-home BtB.

Stan-the-Man should have his team focused, and the Bulls might have spent a little to much time celebrating the close win over the Bucks. Orlando's energy should be the difference.

Orlando 102 - Chicago 97

We're at the Madhouse on Madison, I wonder what the news reporters are gonna be asking Dwight?

You mean 25? 66 game season. But yeah, this season is flying by.

So, odds on our guys looking like they give a crap tonight? I'm still seething over the lack of effort in Charlotte the other night.

Nice GT

Bulls 108
Magic 33

Ryan and JJ combine for 11 three pointers, the team just falls short

Once again I see a close first half and Chicago puling away in the the 3rd quarter to win by a margin no less than 12.

I hate repeating myself, but losing might force this team into a trade.

Sometimes it is fun to look at 82games.com and check out their "Team Production by Position" feature, so I did it for Chicago. It basically sums up and averages out PER at each position, and then again for opponents at those positions, and then takes the net value.

Here is Orlando first, followed by Chicago

PG -6.2; SG 2.3; SF -4.3; PF 1.4; C 9.2

PG 7.1; SG 2.9; SF 3.5; PF 3.5; C 0.5

Familiar story, Nelson|Duhon|QRICh|Hedo|Baby are killing us. I'm confident that Nelson and Hedo can be net positives for us at some point, but Duhon and Baby are hopeless.

PS This could likely be our 2nd round match up, which would be quite exciting.

Edit: To emphasize how our advantage at PF is muted by Baby, Anderson is a net difference of 9.1 there, while Baby is -10.8. Our PG's are equally bad (compared to each other, not Baby, who has his own universe of bad), while QRich is significantly worse than Hedo, who is also bad.

Wooooow......that's so bad it's almost funny.

Also, I have a very bad feeling about this game. Maybe it's because, like others have said, we have a break right after this game and it would be the ideal time for a trade, and I'm sure some of them know they could be on their way out.....I don't know. I just feel like we could easily get humiliated tonight.
