With only 10 games left, we have to win as much as we can in order to get home-court advantage in the playoffs. Atlanta and Indiana have a pretty easy schedule the rest of the way. Boston has a difficult last stretch. Our schedule is not as tough as Boston's but it's pretty difficult. So in order to at least nab the #4th seed, we have to win games like these against Detroit... JUST WIN! No more playing around and losing focus. PLAY SMART AND PLAY HARD! GO MAGIC!

Orlando is on rest and the Pistons are on the dreaded @Miami/@Orlando BtB.

On paper, this should be an easy win. But the Magic seems to find a way to play down to Detroit.

I expect a lot of defensive minutes on the wing by Richardson-1 and Clark. Winning this game means taking Stuckey and Prince out of theirs.

Great thread Nem. We need to finish these last 10 games strong and can certainly do so by playing with maximum effort, playing smart on both ends, and just having fun out there. Time to get another win...LET'S GET IT! 8-)

Well, i will be in attendance for this one, this makes 7 for me this year, i'm 5-2 when we go, I think we have no problem beating them at home, the Hills is where we have problems with this team, but i agree, we need to start a nice winning streak, to gain HCA Back.

I actually like 5th seed better and want to face CHI in the 2nd round should we reach there. I think we could be the first 5th seed to win ECF

oh yeah, gotta win this one. 8-) and that's not a flattering pose of Emmanuelle, she couldn't pull off that look. :)

5th seed would ATM mean facing Boston in the first round ..

I'd rather face Indiana in the first round ..

It seems as if he's just trying to get healthy. he might play the good teams, but sit out against teams like the Pistons.

What's everyone's thoughts on Big Baby/JJ starting?

I really like the lineup a lot more than with Hedo/Ryan. It brings more balance to the team. We get better defensive toughness in the paint and Davis has been providing easy baskets at the rim too, which takes pressure off shooters and provides more diversity to the offense. And JJ has been needing to start for awhile now. When he's coming off screens, he's as much of a threat as Hedo is, and he seems to be more poised, have better shot selection, and make good decisions. I think Q should start over J-Rich, just to provide added defensive toughness to the wings. IMO that's the best balance of offense/defense in the SL, and you give Hedo a chance to be a play maker with the second unit, instead of Duhon.

I would really prefer to start both JJ and Baby, granted Baby keeps up his stellar play, which I believe he will. Going into the playoffs, I like the defense Baby brings and the easy buckets at the rim. Ryan is great, but if the Big Baby we've seen for the past 5 games is here to stay, it'll be a tough decision.

That's really what I'm interested to see in these next few games. I want to see if Big Baby can keep it up. I think he could be more valuable to us in the playoffs if he's consistent.

On a side note I wouldnt mind acquiring Stuckey in the future. Polar opposite ofJameer, big point that almost always goes to the hoop and seeks contact. I think he'd be a refreshing change if Jameer opted out.
