Breaking: Dwight out at least one week (possibly much longer) with torn right labrum. Gasol out next two games with concussion. Metta World Peace may log some time at center, per:

Torn labrum, isnt that the same injury that Jameer had back in 09 that he missed half the season. Did Jameer put a curse on him?

Ron Artest at center, they are beyond desperate.....

:o WOW and look at their schedule coming up. There's a good chance that the hole they'll be in will be too deep to get out of soon.

LATimes just updated the prognosis from one week to "indefinitely." Al Horford was out all of last year with a torn labrum.

Of course, conflicting reports suggest that it was, in fact, Howard's labia--not his labrum--that will keep him out for extended time.

Wow, this can't be real. The Lakers have a very steep hill to climb to get to the playoffs. They've got to go like 31-18 over the last games to make the playoffs. If Dwight is out for a month and they might blow through those losses pretty quick.

whats even more funny is that even if the lakers continue to lose, their pick belongs to pheonix if im not mistakened lol. its a lose-lose for them..

Did anyone catch these tweets from Magic Johnson? Well said

Earvin Magic Johnson ‏@MagicJohnson
I'm tired of blaming the coach, the responsibility is on the @Lakers players.

@DwightHoward has to stop complaining and start dominating on offense....@PauGasol has to stop playing soft and get back to 18pts & 10rebs!

@KobeBryant is having a an MVP type season but the team needs him to be a better leader...@SteveNash scoring more and throwing more assists will help the @Lakers!

@MettaWorldPeace has to stop making great quotes and start playing great defense...@JMeeks20 has to start making better shot selections.

The @Lakers big men have to stop giving up easy offensive rebounds...the perimeter players have to start getting back on defense to stop the fast breaks of their opponents!

Coach D'Antoni has to start teaching better pick & roll defense and better defensive rotations...He also has to make sure that every @Lakers players role is defined.

What do they care about draft picks? If the player is worth anything, they'll just take him in 3 years anyway.

Tell me again why Magic is allowed to be an analyst when he doesn't even try to hide the fact that he has a huge bias towards that particular team.

Wall looks like he has man boobs lol. He seems like the type of player that doesn't have discipline to be great.

Because he's not a reporter and because he's Magic Johnson.

Al Horford missed most of last season due to a torn pectoral muscle, actually.
Nelson did, however miss the latter half of the season and most of the playoffs due to a torn labrum. I wouldn't expect Dwight to miss more than a month, knowing him.

Hopefully the Suns make that Rudy Gay trade and Verajao returns soon. Get more ping pongs!
