Makes me feel a lil better that ATL scored 58 points, including 20 in the first half lol.

They broke our record. We scored 59 against the bulls last year.

Wow, a 5 point 2nd quarter, finished the game with 58.

59 points and the hawks would have only tied the record we set last season for fewest points scored by a bulls opponent instead of breaking it.

I am hopeful that DeQuan Jones will develop into the player many wanted Liggins to become.

..

I like Jones better so far. Defense doesn't win championships anyway...

Jones plays SF(a position of need) and brings more athletisism/height and we had no use for Liggins anyway.
We need mainly scoring from the SG spot.

But how about Earlsanity.

Small sample size but if we only look at his games where he played 20 minutes or more his stast are pretty impressive actually.

5 games:

11.4PPG 10RPG 3.4APG 1.6BPG

He's no game changer but i would have prefered him over McRoberts.

Edit: those numbers maybe a bit inflated because the Lakers play at such a high pace

Looks like Dwight got less than a million allstar votes for the first time in his career when being voted to start. Would you guys attribute that dropoff to his injury/"slow" start or negative press from the dwightmare? Being in LA and on one of the most popular sports teams of all time, I figured he would easily break the 1 million mark.

Dwightmare. People hate him outside the Magic.

I'm listening to the Lakers game and the TNT guys just said, "if I was D'Antoni, I'd find a way to run more plays for Earl Clark.". smh

Reggie said "You have to put more pressure on a GREAT shooter like Earl Clark"......He should have been FIRED on the spot.

& not to mention that none of these guys know the rules of the league. Reggie & Steve saying they can't believe there wasn't an 8 second call because Wade wasn't completely across the half court line at 16?

Not the rule guys.....haha must be nice to just sit there & talk without knowing anything haha

I wonder if people are still gonna use the "Dwight is injured" excuse again after they bragged the last 2 games how he's "back baby!"?

NBA set to implement rule changes

• The eight-second backcourt violation will occur when the shot clock reaches 15 seconds, rather than 16.

Hey now, I can't stand the lakers or heat, but I'm always going to pull for Clark and Shard...

Earl actually had a couple threes... guys like him and even McRoberts for that matter just confuse me -- the ball handling, athleticism, and occasionally they get there shot going... they should be far better scorers then they are.

Funny story: Tony Battie airballed a free throw during Dwight Howard's rookie season. Howard couldn't stop laughing. Not so funny now.

Anybody remember this? And Can you find the vid?
