What's the point of having Lopez on a near max contact on one of the worst teams in the NBA for the next five years? That doesn't sound like a good plan to me.

Dwight didnt max out at 24, why has Lopez all of a sudden? and he showed he can rebound at 8 a game, which would be in top 12 this past year. Maybe the right coach that pushes him a bit further can improve that. and this isnt a free choice that Orlando has made, they are being backed into a corner by Dwight and his agent and people.

Didn't get to post it due to Thread 33 being prematurely locked. But sad to see Ryno go, only fitting in its the 33rd Speculation Thread though.

It will piss me off to no end if Magic fans, even a smattering of them, cheer for Dwight at home games next season... Magic uni or not.

I am not happy about it either, but you cannot get nothing for Dwight. And if Lopez is in Orlando, that means no one else put together a serious offer.

I think SVG would have been a good coach to coax potential production out of Lopez.

I would rather get nothing if the alternative is getting crushed by Dwight/Deron/JJ/Wallace during Lopez's best years in a Magic uniform.

I'd rather just commit to the season with Dwight than trade him Brook Lopez and two firsts... Hou/Phi/LA and basically anyone could give more than Brooklyn...
