so where does this leave us? now we are over the maximum player limit by 2 players, correct? also we still do not have liggins. kinda scares me that redick may be involved in a preseason trade along with one of the forwards possibly for a pick. i think moore is a decent potential player, i watched him at purdue. whats y'all's opinions?

Not exactly sure the reason behind this one. Definitely see a trade in the works now with the amount of contracts we have on the roster. Just hoping it's not JJ!

Not bad..There were a couple Celtics games that left me wondering why he didnt play more. Yay we finally get our big PG that everyone's been whining about not having. Definately Jameers back up, I dont think Ish is better than this guy.

my wishlist to go is eyenga, mcroberts, harrington, richardson, and i know i will take heat for this but i kinda want big baby out the door....

I don't mind parting ways with anyone except the rookies, as long as the return is worth it.

Everyone is trade bait until the end of training camp. I see a trade happening moreso than us just cutting guys.

BTW he is listed as a SHOOTING GUARD and reports are he is Affalo's back up which means only one thing... JJ will end up being traded.

Moore is a combo guard.

He probably will compete with Ish Smith for the backup point guard job.

There will definitely be a trade or two maybe around October when the players that came in the deal like Harrington and McRoberts are eligible to be traded.

When are they eligible? Is it 1 month after the trade?

That Moore is has two years each with guarantees means that GM Henigan has plans for this kid. By opening tip-off of the 2013/14 season, one probably cannot imagine either Redick nor Eyenga in Magic blue. Thus, Moore should grow into a regular rotation player in a fairly short-time frame.

Regardless, I was shocked he was waived/released after seeing him just a handful of games last year.

It gives us another added dimension at the guard spot, as someone who can create for others yet find their own shot.

Oh, and I agree. A trade (or two) is more than inevitable at this point. Thing is, hopefully we stick to plan with maintaining flexibility for 2013 and 2014 and just simply add another young piece to the puzzle that's here for the "long haul".

Eyenga was way too happy when he got traded here. Keep the guy!

They can but more flexibility in October.

They do like him and Hennigan has an eye for talent. I'm surprised Houston cut Harrelson too.

We will see what Moore does.

I think J.J. Redick is going to be dealt by the Trading Deadline to a contender. There will be demand for a shooter like him on an expiring deal.

Regardless, the roster needs to be paired down and we will see some deals within the next month or two.
