Since I'm the only person in the world who likes Aaron Afflalo, thought this might be at least interesting news to you guys.

Not sure how much the Pelicans would want for him (especially since they're a rebuilding team too), and I kind of doubt it would be worth it for us. His injury might mean a team could get a good deal on him though.

Sigh. I don't really care to get him either. Just thought it would be something to discuss since I hear a lot of talk about needing a 2nd/3rd scoring option from outside of the draft. And guys like John Wall probably aren't going to just fall into our lap.

As for AA, i like him too, i think he had a bad year (at least in terms of 3PT%), but he will get better next season here or in the place we send him. The guy shoot 40% 3PT in last 4 season (except this one), he can't unlearn in one season.

AA's biggest issue last season was his selfishness IMO. I feel like he didn't really trust all the young players around him, and was trying too hard to be the veteran leader. When the team was down he felt like, as the veteran, HE had to bring them back. And maybe I'm wrong, but from JV's interviews it seemed like Jacque was actually telling him to try and do everything. By the end of the year, he didn't have much left and a good amount of his shots weren't going in.

With a year passing on the team, I believe he will trust the other players more. We all saw Tobias and Vuc come alive at the end of the year after AA went down with injury, so hopefully they'll have more confidence in each other. As we acquire more talent in the future I'm hoping he won't have to feel like doing everything himself. He has proven he can be an efficient 3rd option on a playoff team, he just has to not force it.

I can see the argument for trading him though because there is a concern that he might be too old to fit into our rebuilding plan.

Eric Gordon is a great player, while I know everyone dislikes him because he is prone to injury, he still is a good scorer/facilitator. Curry was known as a player with ankle that broke almost every game, but this year he's be relatively healthy that's made me a little more confident about YOUNG injury prone players.

I think we could exercise trading for him, but for the right price.

Afflalo gave us similar production on a cheaper deal.

Not worth the money/long term deal... Ie. not a player who will be on the magic

Hennigan is not going to go for a guy like Gordon and I am glad.

well... as it is with most players, it depends on whom we deal for him, I woudn't trade any of the young guys for him and I don't think he'd be happy here anyway, but the biggest obstacle and the reason he'll likely stay put is his contract:
