They rebounded nicely (LOL) to pull away 31-17 against Stoneybrook.

They can huff and puff all they want, but looks like they have some isssues. Good luck running the table.

Keep an eye out for an announcement in the next day or two regarding the game. My guess is the game is moved up to at least noon on Saturday, maybe even moved to Friday night. Honestly with the uncertainty around the storm Friday night is probably best, but they would have to make that decision tomorrow I would think. How the storms tracking goes over the next 12-18 hours will decide whether they need to move the game up or cancel it altogether, doubtful it stays at 8pm.

Ugh! Yeah, Friday night might be best option should the storm stay on track.

TV is still up in the air. Sounds like ESPN is trying to figure out if they can get their crew there in time to setup.

USF's performance against Stony Brook (and San Jose State) is hugely concerning. But, it's not without precedent. Clemson barely beat Troy last year, and we know how their season turned out. It happens. You play down to your opponent and/or keep plays close to your vest. Or, the new coaches are going to ruin one of the most prolific offenses in the country. Hindsight will tell us which is true soon enough.

I wish we had the start UCF did. I'd have less anxiety right now. Nice W, guys.

FWIW I agree with you here. USF still has a strong team. Very, very far away from being written off and still the obvious favorite in the UCF matchup.

Usf road game at Uconn cancelled due to concerns of their return flight. Not sure I understand it. Would think they'd rather be in Connecticut during the storm.

Not annoyed the game was cancelled, but pretty annoyed at how it went down.

UCF vs. GT cancelled, not planned to be rescheduled. That's huge. USF vs. Illinois likely to get cancelled as well.

F*** Irma.

Damn it sucks, have to wait until next week to watch FSU. Damn Hurricane. I guess the polls will keep punishing us, they already did for losing Francois for the season in game 1 and for not playing ULM last weekend due to hurricane and game vs Miami this weekend pushed back until 10/7.

Also looking to schedule an FCS team for the bye week so we only miss one game. Stinks Memphis' President decided to unilaterally cancel the game at the last moment. Who knows, maybe UCF would've been able to figure something out for Georgia Tech or another opponent and we would've still had 12 games.

Maine would have been a nice bump toward bowl eligibility but I'd rather play Memphis.

At least UCF gets to play soon. By the time the Noles play again, it will be just short of 3 weeks. I don't know why they didn't move our game vs Miami(home game for them) to Tallahassee or Tampa instead of moving it to Oct 7th. USF plays tonight and Bucs on Sunday, Raymond James Stadium has nothing going on tomorrow.

Sigh
