Aaron Gordon --- Where He Go?

Aaron Gordon is receiving consideration from the Orlando Magic with the No. 4 overall pick in the NBA draft and is not expected to fall past the Sacramento Kings at No. 8.

Gordon displayed a 39-inch vertical leap during the Chicago pre-draft combine.

"If and when I reach my full potential, I think I will be better than everybody [in this draft]," Gordon said. "I think I will have an edge."

TBH, I don't know much about Gordon. Whenever I watched Arizona games, I always thought his deficiencies were being masked by what a great team the Wildcats were. He never was the STAR player on his team the way Smart, Jabari, or Embiid were.

What do you see in this kid? Is he top-4 worthy?

I was hoping we could trade up for him with our 2nd pick. Don't think he's worth 4. Could easily trade down if we're going that route.

Gordon should go anywhere between picks 4-12.

Next Question?

I watched a few of his Arizona games.....he reminds me of another Dennis Rodman, a rebounding beast. :o

He has an extremely high ceiling and an extremely low floor. If we draft him at 4, I will be surprised, terrified, and excited.

I remember watching Rodmans rookie season as a 2nd round draft choice. He was a skinny Small Forward who didn't become a PF until about the Pistons 1st championship season and was still a backup that season.

Well, if we draft him at 4, I would be pissed, pissed, and pissed.

This makes the most logical sense.

I think he has a very high ceiling and very high floor on the contrary. probably the best defensive stopper in the draft, with high IQ, high motor and exceptional athleticism. has awesome handles for his size and capability to grow into anything.

Agreed. I like him a lot actually. I actually would pick him over Vonleh. If Exum is gone and we decide to pass on Embiid, he's who I want to pick I think.

Same here, him and LaVine are two guys who I'm keeping my eye on to see how they pan out.

BadMoFuPimp, You are absolutely right about Rodman as a rookie!! He was a skinny twig. Boy, did he morph/metasticize/transfigure into a monster.

Gordon could be available at #12, so at #4, this would be a huge shock for Magic fans.

Jazz should take him, IMO

Athletically, he has the upside of Lebron James.

But he's scary because he's not close to translating that to the offensive side of his game yet. Defensively he's the best in the draft. He can guard all 5 positions.
