Just wondering if anybody had a good nickname for Mario other than Super Mario. That nickname was already used in the past by Mario Elie, who actually just got hired as a Magic assistant coach. I'm just not a fan of recycled nicknames...anybody got anything???

it's super mario, there isn't going to be anything that fits better, might go over well with the kids?

Shaq was superman in orlando... a decade later dwight was superman in orlando. Sorry, but Hezonja's nickname will be super mario. The likes of Mario freaking Elie certainly won't stop that from hapepning...

On a daily basis he's Mario. When he's putting up a sick statline he's Super Mario. Now, when he's in crazy mode and "running over everybody"... Wario?

Whatever happens to the cool nicknames that are not a play on the player's own names? They are so boring, T-mac of the world.
Nicknames like the Dream, Halfman halfAmazing, the Hammer, etc.. are way cooler. Did we run out of them? lol

I guess it'll just stay super Mario...seems fitting that it'll stay that way since society is so damn lazy and uncreative to think of something new. Just keep recycling old ideas. Oh we'll, maybe somebody will think of something, I'm out of ideas. Although I did like the Wario idea when he starts playing hard.

funny. "wario" is what heat fans call mario chalmers when he's playing poorly.

Jumpman - that was the name of Mario in the donkey kong games. Beside Mario Chalmers already took the "super mario" name.
