As you all know next summer there are a lot of free agents out there.
We all want a star for orlando but i think this will be difficult, a lot depends from this season.
So i make a point about more realistic targets for Orlando .
Meyers leonard and john henson,for my opinion, would be very good additions,quality players.
Henson as a fit to vuc would be great.Defensive 4 with good rebounding and shotblocking.
Leonard a 7f1 center who is really mobile and athletic,runs the floor well and protects the rim.
These two would upgrade our roster

Leonard kind of sucks but I'd love to sign Henson. He usually kills us anyway, would be a good 1st big off the bench.

Ew. Myers Leonard is trash and doesn't really protect the rim. Henson would be a decent pickup but even he's not starter material. Pass.

Leonard has potential, he just need playing time.Henson offers quality rebounding and shotblocking.
Always to have such players on the roster.They offer more than frye and nicholson.

JJ Hickson,Terrence Jones,Miles Plumlee are also good options.

We got Millsap to at least visit Orlando and listen to a 25 win team. Make the playoffs, show some promise, throw some money, and we can have a solid pitch. This team should be looking to sign the big fish. Not settling for Meyers Leonard.

I agree, but its still not Horford or bust.

A. Durant: why not visit his agent? long shot, but still worth the try.

B. Horford: I want him too, but I think ATL would match. They just resigned Millsap, and it looks like they're committed to that core.

C. Terrence Jones: nice 16+ mill/yr contract is fine with me. I expect him to somewhat break out this season. Guy can run the floor, hustle, decent shooter, decent rebounder, good defender, good ball handler, good shot blocker. He fits the versatile, athletic mold of our team. I imagine he'd do very well playing alongside Vucevic and Gordon. I'd love to see him blocking shots and running the floor to create transition opportunities. I personally love his game and at only 23, I think he can grow with the other players to form a very well rounded team.

D. Henson: provides better shot blocking and rim protection than Jones for sure, he can do wonders for our defense. Great roll man. He's not versatile though. His strength and shooting are still big issues. Though we can surround him with some shooters, obviously it's not our strength. If Oladipo becomes a good shooter and Vucevic adds a 3pt shot though we'll be able to get away with having him and Payton on the court at the same time for a few minutes per game. I'm fine with a 13 mill contract. I don't expect him to take a huge leap this season.

B - Atlanta cant "match", he isnt a RFA. You want him, you have to sell him on Orlando over what Atlanta sells. The only thing that Atlanta can do is offer more money. But if he is sold on a vision, there is no matching involved.

C - Jones hasnt done anything yet to warrant $16mil/yr. And playing on that team, he is going to continually be 3rd and 4th fiddle and wont really have a breakout year. And that actually works out well if Hennigan believes in him and wants to try and steal him. He can come in with a decently high offer that Houston just cant justify matching for the production at his current role.

D- $13mil/yr for Henson is also way, way too much. He is a 3rd big man, bench big. thats too much, especially if in your words that he wont take a huge leap this season.

If the best Henny can do is pay Jones, Meyers, Hensen or Jones over $10 mil per, then that would be a massive fail as a GM on his part.

This. Sell him on being able to play PF here, which is where he would rather be playing.

SF - Harris, Hezonja
PF - Horford, Gordon
C - Vuc

For me henson would help this team a lot.
And he is in our reach.
Of course i like horford a lot but it will be difficult to get him.

Also leonard has much more potential than dedmon,he just needs to play

I find it hard to pick names, which FA we try to sign in 2016, because i think a lot depends on how the team develop this year, will Gordon be the perfect fit for the 4, will Fournier be a solid player from the bench and which role will Super Mario play. If we are a playoff team, perhaps KD could be the stone to be a contender. If we stay in the standings like the last years, KD will only be a wet dream

I highly doubt those are Hennigan's targets in free agency next year. Both are horrible. Meyers is not a room protector. He's a stretch 5 who might be a slight upgrade over Frye and Henson is a third string center. Just keep Dedmon. Why do people keep sleeping on Dedmon?

Lol wut at Meyers Leonard being terrible. He is a mobile stretch 5 that has been getting better defensively. He **** all over Jason Smith, Andrew Nicholson, and Channing Frye.
