“I haven’t played in a long time, since summer league,” Gordon said. “It’s time to play, so of course I’m going to have butterflies.”

“He’s been trying to stay up-to-date with the offensive and defensive things, but it’s totally different when the bodies are banging around out there,” Skiles said. “So it’ll be interesting to see what he does tonight.”

“It’s perfect,” Gordon said. “I’m excited. I’m going to take it game by game, and hopefully, I’ll be rolling by the regular season.”

``I give (small forwards) problems, I really do, with my length and footwork it gives them problems,’’ Gordon said. ``Even if I can’t block the shot, me being 6-foot-9 I can contest the shot and that makes a big difference.’’

``Imaging his upside, that (elite-level defender) is there for him,’’ Skiles said. ``With Aaron, what we’re hoping for is that at some point he can be a guy who is a really, really, high-level defender. Laterally he’s good, he rebounds it, he’ll block a shot – he’s got a lot of ability there.’’

``He’s another Energizer bunny that we need and someone who has that swagger and plays hard,’’ Oladipo said of Gordon. ``He can guard multiple positions, so it’s good to have the young fella back. … He can guard (point guard) through (power forward) basically. He’s going to be useful for us. He’s gotten bigger, stronger and better and it’s going to be fun having him out there. He’s just getting back so there are going to be little kinks and he can’t frustrated about and play through. But other than that, he’s going to be fine.’’

I wouldn't be shocked if they blew us out . I can't remember the last time we blew a team out. I'm pretty sure we didn't do it once last season.
