Are we showcasing Fournier?

He becomes an rfa next offseason.
He plays the same position as our new draft pick hezonja and our pt is probably most best given to him.
He could be the headliner for a trade, either at the deadline or before, that includes frye(!)
What could we get back for him?

Showcasing hasn't worked for BBD, Harkless, Bum Garbage or Kyle. Henny hasn't been very good at soliciting trade ideas lately. He was good his first season tho.

We kind of showcased Afflalo to get Fournier...

With the franchise's Win Now ambitions, I can't see the Magic trading him until they know for sure Hezonja can play big minutes + also need to make sure AG (and Harris) are capable of staying healthy.

I think that may happen down the line, but probably the first reason he got PT was because Henny wanted to see what's in him before the extension deadline. He might go back to warming the bench this week and not get more PT until the trade deadline approaches. Then after the trade deadline, he'd go back to the bench. lmao.

Im calling it now:
The magic sre gonna trade for Paul George. The pacers are underachieving and will blow it up once PG demands a trade.
We send fournier, hezonja and frye and they send PG.

Fournier is to Skiles as Green is to Vaughn. At least Fournier is good though.

I think he sticks around, but he should come off the bench. I'd like to see Frye, Nicholson, Marble & 2016 2nd rd pick for Taj and McBuckets.

Fournier is most likely getting minutes because Skiles considers him a good glue guy. This isn't the kind of season for the FO to be directing Skiles to showcase anyone, or playing anyone that isn't gonna give us the best chance of winning.

Have said the Pacers would trade PG at the deadline for months now. Don't think id do it if we sent Hezonja however. Fournier and Tobias would have me interested though (if he stays healthy).

Fournier is playing starter's minutes because he is playing good basketball. First he CAN shoot 3's with confidence and make them. Showcasing? Nah! He is just playing the right way.

I wouldn't make the trade either, but there is no chance Indiana would be interested in trading Paul George unless they're going into rebuild mode.
