I don't think it's very classy to laugh about the Smith elbow. Noel is an idiot but it was still a cheap shot. Not a fan.

Funny thing about Smith's elbow is that Nerlens was having such a bad game the ejection seemed to have done more good for sparking a PHI run than it did put the nail in the coffin...

I'm gonna go with Elf because overall he played really well. However, I am not thrilled by the terrible perimeter defense by the team tonight, which includes Payton. That was seriously garbage and the worst defense this team has played all season. Not trying to put it all on him because he definitely wasn't the only one guilty of this, but sadly I do think it takes away from an otherwise great game from him. It was though, nice to see Payton bounce back after a rough start to the season. I'm proud of the way he keeps fighting, and I know he's going to be just fine because of that.

Eh, doesn't seem that bad to me. Seems more like a dumb foul than a cheap shot. Noel was looking right at him, maybe even mouthing off at him. Maybe we missed something on the other side of the court prior to this?

Noel was getting scrappy with him and also Dedmon earlier, I'm happy to have a guy that will step up and tell him enough. I don't think it was dirty either, just a hard hit to tell him to knock it off. Obviously it was a foul but at least he didn't do something really stupid and try to foul him hard when Noel was in the air or elbow him in the head. Also like I said, it didnt come out of nowhere, Noel had been asking for it. The league is too soft in my opinion and if you are going to dish it, you gotta be able to take it as well, which Noel clearly can't.

Disagree a little - Payton played really good defense from what I saw (you're never going to stop a PG from penetrating every play down), TJ didn't shoot too great and was rushed a lot.
Canaan broke free from Fournier and Oladipo the entire damn game though, and CJ Watson/Shabazz couldn't handle the backups Pressey and Caanan as well. I saw Payton having to switch onto multiple people on the perimeter because our other players werent near the play.

EP4, the guy had a great comeback game. I really want to see both him and Oladip play well together, has yet to happen this season.
