I believe it s time to give aaron gordon a larger role on this Team.a starting spot.
He all the tools to be a very special player for this franchise.
By the way i like harris but after his new contract signing i hoped he would step up offensively and take the next step.while he shows good rebounding i think his points per game are a little bit disapointing

While I agree that Gordon should be playing more, it shouldn't be at the expense of Harris' minutes. Harris is only playing 30 mpg himself and averaging 15 and 8. That equates to 17.8 ppg and 9.6 rpg per 36. In the minutes that he is playing, he has been our best player. Before you say Fournier, check the numbers and compare them on a level playing field (per 36). Payton has been playing like crap basically the entire time, save a game or 2. If anyone's minutes need to be cut into, it's his, and then move everyone down a spot.

The only way I could see this happening with the way our roster is and the fact that Fournier is playing too good not to be in the starting lineup, is Dipo running the point, and I don't see that happening since the team seems to have a lot of faith in Payton there.
If Fournier wasn't playing so well then Payton/Dipo/Gordon/Harris/Vuc could be the norm starting lineup.

Gonna hijack the thread a little bit and say we need to actually change our game plan. Run and gun isn't working for us, mostly because we can't gun. We're trying to be like the Warriors, but the reason why they're so good is because Curry is shooting 60/40/90 and is surrounded by even more shooters. We have Defense going for us, but we can't score when we need to; our shooting is relatively horrendous.
If we make the playoffs we will barely make it, with the way we're playing now. What this team needs is to be more like the Grizzlies and jam Vooch, Deadman, and Nicholson into the lineup at the same time. Frye sucks but sure, swap him with Nicholson if you want.
The common conception about this team is we have lots of talented, fast players... But in reality they're not good enough. We need to try playing BIG and not small.

I think payton doesn t fit in skiles offense.i believe watson and napier are better suited for his system.

Frankly, Orlando must start at some point: Payton/Oladipo/Harris/Gordon/Vučević.
If Gordon left the shenanigans away and was fully healthy the whole off-season, I personally have no doubt Orlando would be starting these five and would have at least one more win than now. Gordon's poor behavior legitimately cost the team this season. So long as the Magic make the playoffs, I think we fans can let it slide.

the only solution is to dial back Fournier's minutes he's playing like 40 minutes a game. Dial that back to 32-35 and slide Harris back to the SF and play him and Aaron together. It's probably one of the decisions i don't get, you play Harris and Gordon together that could be a nightmare for opponents because of the versatility.

I'd have no problem benching Fournier

Not if we want to win. He has been our second best if not best player so far this season. Nobody else except Vuc has been this consistent. If anybody deserved the bench is Victor. Start Evan at the two, move Harris to the three and AG at the PF with Vuc. Imagine a bench of Dedmon, Dipo, Hezonja, and CJ.

Have Oladipo come off the bench for instant offense where he can run wild putting up a ton of shots.

Same way D12, Lewis, and Turk worked. Or Zbo and Marc gasol. We need big men out there to get down low and bang bodies. Our guards aren't shooting efficiently so we need to rethink our strategy.

We have to get more scoring on the floor somehow... payton and oladipo are the culprits. We need to start fournier at the 2 and bring oladipo off the bench. Then start gordon at the 3.

I understand your point but neither vuc, dedmon and drew can play sf
