The amount of times I've accidentally clicked on that thread only to read how much UCF blows against other crappy teams...
Are there even that many UCF fans on here? Should at least make it a general Florida college football thread f it's going to be stickied...

The thread has been there for years, and many of us still want it there.

Just don't open it or read it if you are not interested in it.

Don't know where you live or what hour interests are, but college football is a big deal in this part of the country.

College football is a big deal in this country... UCF football is not (sorry). There are more UF/FSU sports fans in Orlando than UCF sports fans. I don't have a problem with the thread, just don't think it's needed to be stickied all these years... not with how it's excluded the two biggest STATE football programs in FL. If it's going to be forced onto the board at the top of the front page, at the very least why not make it a general Florida football thread (college and NFL)? Would appeal to way more people, thus making it more accepting to those who don't care about football. Might be time to poll the board to see if there'd be interest in such a change.

That's usually how a rivalry works. FSU fans can't stand UF fans, UF fans can't stand FSU fans. As a result, whichever team is doing better usually has the more obnoxious fans because they can't help but rub it in and talk smack... that's been FSU fans in recent years.

You are not incorrect but trust me the Gators are a special kind of awful.

You really think so? A lot of fans hate UF. Most teams who have had success get hated. They gloat in both basketball and football and some people just enjoy watching them lose.

I remember when AA was here he said how much he hated the gators....but it was because they beat UCLA in their championship runs.
Other SEC team fans hate them too. I can totally see some randoms hating them.

Richt, 145 wins in 15 years.

Uga has never really had a sustainable NC contending team.

Richt probably ends up at UM if he wants the job.

UGA getting rid of Richt, has been a long time coming. Yes he did win 145 games, but in the SEC, it's all about winning SEC Championships and competing for National Championships. He won 2 SEC championships in his first 7 seasons at UGA, none in his last 8 years. 2-4 in SEC Championship games, 9-5 in bowl games and no National Championships.
