Don't know right now. We'll find out eventually.

Would be good to start this week off with a win.

Need to build our point differential back up over the next 10 games before we play Cleveland again. Blow 'em out!

The train on this rollercoaster went subterranean friday night, so we should be heading up now.

Should be a win, its gonna get ugly if it isn't.

I'm disappointed that Skiles didn't change the lineup, but I'm concerned that this offensive issues go deeper than just the starting lineup. I sense that the Magic don't have a strong enough offensive identity that they can execute for 48 minutes a game yet, in contrast to the sense I have about the defensive identity (as reflected in the improved defensive stats).

Even more concerning is that Skiles doesn't think the Magic have a PF that can keep up with Thaddeus Young. This is concerning for two reasons: 1: He can't view Gordon as even a hybrid PF if he doesn't think Gordon can keep up with Thaddeus Young (link); 2) Skiles is going to leave Frye, who is barely more mobile than Nicholson, but infinitely less mobile that Gordon or Harris, as the starter at PF. I just don't understand it.

Well, one could consider that Skiles putting Frye out there is forcing other teams to react to us. Why should we change our entire system because of Thaddeus Young?

They are going to have to have someone guarding Frye tight or he'll be shooting 3s all night. Give him daylight and he will make them at a very good clip.

I don't mind him standing pat a little longer to see if the Cleveland game was an anomaly or not. Plus it keeps his powder dry if he needs to move Aaron Gordon into the starting lineup later this season.

You're not kidding. That last game has left a horrible hangover. So bad that I wasn't even aware we played tonight. Not as excited as I was before that game. Hopefully we can start winning again.

Why do we people always want to change our entire make up of the team because of who Frye is guarding when he hasn't been that bad defensively. People are always like "OMG, we're going to get killed by opposing player at PF position." and it hardly ever happens. I think we'll be fine.

I'm not wanting to change the entire makeup of the Magic just because of Frye. In fact, I'd only change the lineup with respect to Frye and that's not just because of his defense (which Skiles seems to indicate in the article I linked isn't ideal for Thaddeous Young), but because he's not contributing much offense either. See the same article for the decline in Frye's offensive contribution.

I think the Magic can be even better than they are now and I think Skiles can help them get there, but the offense has clearly lagged behind defense in improvement and consistency.

I got the feeling Skiles was pondering inserting Nicholson into the starting lineup but saw that Young's mobility could embarrass Nicholson and make the coaching move look really bad. If Young goes off on Frye, that justifies and reinforces a move - and the upcoming match ups at PF are more favorable to that move anyhow.
