http://nbpa.com/inside-rookie-mario-hezonjas-transition-to-orlando-and-the-nba-lifestyle/Me and EP have become really good friends. I’m his “rookie” and he’s been showing me around the city. I didn’t have a car during my first couple of months in Orlando—I do now—so EP would drive me around a lot and we would go sightseeing. So far so good, even though Orlando is strange for me. We have nothing even the same as there is in Barcelona. There are not too many things to do here, but I like it. I’m actually planning to visit some children at a local hospital at the end of the month.
Our team has a ton of special handshakes, especially with EP and Victor Oladipo—AG, too. I have one with everybody; it’s special between us. I’m not going to repeat something that I do with them. Also, the handshakes are hard. If I do them with anyone, we’re going to mess up. It takes three days of practice.
But I’m really happy with point guard. I’m able to play multiple positions on the court. I’m not going to refuse point guard and I’m not going to reject the opportunity. I’m going to step into it; that’s me, that’s my character. I want to help my team, so playing any role just comes naturally for me.
I love his attitude.

I'd buy a $3 Mario Hezonja ORLANDO MAGIC shirt.
Great read. Gotta like the guy. He seems humble , way more humble than other people thought. He's super confident, not arrogant. Nice

I'm so thrilled we drafted this kid. That was a very good read. Seems like a really down to Earth type of dude. I hope he thrives here with the Magic for a very long time.

I'm glad Elf and him have built a good relationship. If you guys didn't see the Magic special on Elf, Mario and AG traveled with EP for a visit to his hometown. I love seeing the relationships build. Hopefully they'll be able to grow and stay together for a long time.

Great read.
If this was Oladipo, people would read into the "There's not much to do in Orlando" quote and run with it though... lol

Reminds me of the Dipo at PG thing from a few years ago. A great way to help him develop ball skills quicker and who knows, he may actually be really good at it.

I can’t stop eating American food. I love it. In Europe, everything comes in small portions. But here, you can’t stop. The portions are huge. It’s crazy.

As long as hes eating the right stuff its actually a good thing. Calorie surplus, healthy diet plus the right training will result in him stacking on a lot of muscle.

Sorry to bother, but is there any way for us who don't live in the US to see this?
p.s Just wait till Mario gets them to visit his hometown, they might never come back

Orlando is so spread out, that's why people think there's nothing to do.

Dubrovnik is awesome and this photo is breathtaking but during summer holidays it's swarming with tourists. It's basically hard to walk around the old town. Been there done that.

Yeah, too many tourists even for my taste.
