Twas a couple of nights before Christmas, and all through the house...
all creatures were stirred to play with fervor, and not like a mouse
the plan was assembled by the coach with care
knowing Mr. "You Fouled Me" and Mr. "Trade Me" would soon be there.

ABOUT THE ROCKETS (15-14): James Harden's level of play has steadily risen after a slow start, and the superstar put it all together with 36 points, seven assists and five rebounds on Monday. Harden is at his best when he attacks the paint, and he went 16-of-19 from the free-throw line in the win for his fourth straight game with 10 or more attempts. Houston finished November with eight losses in its last 11 games but turned that around completely with eight wins in the first 11 games this month.
ABOUT THE MAGIC (16-12): Vucevic serves as a rock in the middle of Orlando's drive-and-kick offense and shot 50 percent or better from the field in each of the last eight games. "(Vucevic) was unstoppable down there," Magic guard Evan Fournier told reporters. "I mean, he's so gifted for a guy his size. Left hand, right hand … Vooch put on a show (against the Knicks)." Vucevic was limited to six points in 17 minutes before leaving with a knee injury that forced him to miss the next three games in a 119-114 overtime loss at Houston on Nov. 5.
The Rockets (15-14) seek a season high-tying fourth straight win after allowing 93.0 points per game and a 39.1 field-goal percentage in their last three. They had been giving up an average of 107.1 on 47.0 percent heading into that stretch.

The Magic are averaging 105.4 points while winning four of the last five games and held the opposition under 100 points in each of those four victories.
Notes: Rockets G Ty Lawson is expected to return Wednesday after serving a two-game suspension. Magic G Elfrid Payton left Monday's game with an ankle injury and is questionable for Wednesday.

Well done thread. I Despise harden (as a basketball player of course lol) with every once of my soul. I would like to avenge the loss we suffered in houston. I'd say we're better now than we were in early november.

Payton has been upgraded to probable per Jonathan Feigan. We need him to play and be aggressive, hopefully get Beverley in foul trouble. Also, harden is shooting something like 10/36 against us in the last two games, but is getting to the line even more than usual. Jason Smith and Frye need to step up tonight. All hands on deck and give me a W for Christmas

Gonna be home tonight, husband couldn't get off work in time for us to go. Glad it looks like Elf will play. Remember last year what a great game he had against them? Go Magic!

well we are on nba tv tonight so thats a automatic lose lol... jk but i hope we can win this game like most have said i don't really like this rockets team. If the shoots are falling from deep and can some how slow harden down and of course don't let a scrub go off on us we can pull it out.. go magic

I'll be there center court this game. Most expensive one of my plan, excited to hear the boos for Dwight in person!
Brewer should probably go 4/5 from distance and Ariza might break the record of 12 threes in one game. I don't know what these goofy bastards have against us but they always makes everything.
And please don't make Mario bring the ball up the court against Beverly lol.
