Cj Watson?
Did I miss something? Is he out for the year? Whats wrong with him? They never talk about his return.

Re: Cj Watson?
feels like Orlando media has tippy-toed around asking hard questions about his injury...then again the Magic front office has always sugarcoated injury issues in a super contrived manner so maybe press just knows its a waste of time to ask...

Yes there has:
December 22, 2015
NEW YORK — Watson will not play against the Rockets, and his return to action does not seem imminent. Watson said he continues to feel some pain in the upper area of his calf, near the back of his left knee.
The 31-year-old point guard had a setback recently. After he had ramped up his activity level to regain his conditioning, his left knee swelled.
Since then, the swelling and some of the pain have subsided.
"Now we're back to, I guess, not Step One, but back to the beginning where I've just started taking it step-by-step and am doing a little more stuff each and every day," Watson said.
I mean, he's being kind of a baby, but at least we know he can't seem to play without pain in his calf and possible swelling in his knee.

Re: Cj Watson?
Watson always misses 20-30 games every season the past few years. If you looked on the Pacers injury report last season, he would be healthy a few games then hurt a few games. This is why I wanted someone like Lin or at least a player who can contribute for a full season. He is just aging badly like Duhon.

Re: Cj Watson?
It's truly disappointing. Coming into the season, the PG spot was one of our deepest positions. Now with CJ MIA, and Elf dealing with injury issues, it's the most thin. Hopefully he comes back soon, as well as Elf getting healthy -- because we need all the help we can get with our upcoming stretch.

So THIS is how we tank the season!?
The future is bright
Payton said. ``I just want to keep getting better and maybe one day I can be the all-time all assists leader for the Magic.’’

Is his leg falling off or something? How can he be out this long? We really need him out there.

I'd take Zombie CJ Watson at this point. Though you know Payton will be on the quick hook program as soon as he gets back.

I guess he hasn't averaged 63 games per season over his 8 year career for nothing?

Re: Cj Watson?
Watson sure must be happy to obtain his best contract via Per Year salary of his career as a broken down aging man who has a hard time staying healthy. Well done Henny!

Re: Cj Watson?
This is shaping up to be a really wasted signing. And don't we have him for another year after this one, or is there a team option?
Injuries happen, but it becomes a bad signing (and not just dumb luck) when the player basically coasts through the season on IR with something relatively minor. More than 2 months for a strained calf with all indications being he's still not even close to coming back? Either, a) it's more than a strained calf and they're lying, or b) C.J. is closing out his career by using his $4.5 million of Orlando Magic paid vacation time in sunny Florida.
