Nerlens Noel?

Am I the only one who think he would be perfect for this team? And potentially available if the price is right.

Philly would have to send us their entire team to make up for his knees.

That was made up by some random blog... both guys were struggling, so instead of saying a trade makes sense they wrote it like it was a rumor to get hits (and dumb Philly fans ate it up despite knowing the source).

Exactly. Gordon is going to be a better PF than Noel. Likely a better player as well.
Noel is nice but he's a one way player with an injury history, skinny legs and undersized for his position (center). Good player to have on your team, but not the player for us. Save those assets for a big time player.

7' with a 7'4 wingspan is not undersized. 230 lbs is light, but nowadays with smaller lineups, his versatility is nice.
and i think Gordon ends up at SF. There has been plenty of minutes to play him at PF and we havent done it, so that tells me they dont want him at PF.

Size isnt just about length. He is light and can be exposed by stronger centers. He gambles so much when he plays post defense its easy to see he's uncomfortable guarding players straight up when they have a weight advantage.
Just because Gordon isnt currently playing many minutes at PF doesnt mean he never will. He's a versatile forward that will play both positions. Draymond green played SF his first couple of years.

KAT is only 15 lbs heavier and everyone raves over him. And even Vucevic is getting bullied, so width wise size doesnt always help. As for gambling, playing on that team with deficient defensive players, i can see why he would.
and i still say Gordon ends up at SF not PF. he just doesnt have a PF's game.

Yeah... we keep labeling him a PF around here, but that's not what is going on. Back in real world, Magic are grooming him for a SF, as out of top 10 lineups (by minutes he played) in SEVEN of them he is featured at SF next to Nicholson at PF and one of Vučević/Smith at C. In two cases he is playing next to Harris - and every time I've seen him there, Aaron is the one guarding wings - not Tobias. ONLY ONE LINEUP has Aaron playing PF next to Dedmon at C for a whooping 15mins in total this season.
