Anyone got a near-on Billion to spare?
The average NBA franchise is now worth $1.25 billion, up 13 percent over last year with a 74 percent gain on the previous year after the national television media deals were completed.
REALGM LINKOrlando is at 20th place. 350M below the average is a huge savings, indeed!

Isn't that about what we are ranked in the standings too?

Pelicans would be a good buy. Cheapest team going. They've got a superstar. Just need some better pieces around him and a good coach and they'd be winning and selling a ton of jerseys.
I'd rebrand them though. Changing their name to the Pelicans was a horrible idea.

Question: If you won the $1.6bil powerball and Devos offered to sell the team for your winnings, would you buy the Magic?
Or, just keep ur money and buy courtside seats, a box or something. Me, I would probably put my own BadMofoPimp infomercial on the Jumbotron.

Yep, pretty much. Oh, and according to this -
https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/2a5k0p/nba_media_market_rankings/ - we're the 20th biggest media market in the league, as well.
I wonder what the team was worth at the peak of Dwightmania?
Oh, and if I won the lottery and could buy the team, I would. Then, in an unprecedented move, I would appoint this board as the General Manager (RealGM for real) of the Magic. Even Destin. Clearly, we always know exactly what is best for the team.

I'd buy the team on Monday, fire Hennigan, trade Frye, then sell them on Tuesday.
