Things I want to see final 30 games

Things I would like to see final stretch of the season:

-Oladipo is shooting almost 35% from 3 after a disastrous start shooting the ball first 2 months of the season. Can he continue shooting it well and end the season around 36-37%. Payton is shooting 36% from 3 in low volume, can he keep it up? I want him to be less hesitant. Would like to see Aaron Gordon get his 3pt percentage to around 33-34%, he is at 30% right now, again like Payton no hesitation just shot it.

-I want Vuc to play angry almost every game. Demand the ball in crunch time.

-Would like to see the 2 new veterans provide good stability to this young team.

-Mario getting consistent crunch time minutes and more set plays.

-Win a few games here and there against top competition that we are not supposed to win.

Just about perfect, man. I'd also like to see Vooch bring defensive intensity every couple of games rather than every 7 or 8 games. That could have a major impact on our plans for the summer.

Totally agree with you. I just hope we will play team basketball we showed we are capable of. No more 2 man games and no more hero ball because that didn't bring us anything good. When we were sharing the ball,we were playing nice basketball and actually winning. Players looked like they were having fun on the court too. I also hope Jennings isn't just a chucker because I will go mad if I have too see another Napier-like player on the court getting significant minutes.

Jennings can also pass the ball push the tempo and drive the lane though. He brings a lot more than Napier does

He is better than Napier,no doubt. I just don't want to watch another chucker.

I'm curious to see how a Jennings/Dedmon PnR looks with Sova in the strong corner, Mario in strong wing, and Fournier/Watson in the weak corner. That may be a play the bench can kill teams with.

The number one thing I want to see is the elimination of let downs. Far too often we have either had a strong lead or be in a tough fight against a strong team and we completely go away for a stretch.

Clearly the raw talent is there to compete with all but perhaps 3 or 4 teams teams in the league but we don't have the experience to maintain that level of play for 48 minutes. I hope these trades can help with that. I'm not sure if they will this season but clearly we plan to spend money this season on experience to address this very issue.

Can we see games without the ritual inbound turnover?

Why would I? Does winning in overtime mean blowing a big lead never happened?

That is all you wanted to see. What I posted interest in seeing went beyond that and this game was a miserable failure in that regard.

If you don't want your team to blow big leads, you probably need to pick a different sport to follow. The veterans on Dallas blew a pretty big 4th quarter lead against us. It happens.

Orlando was down 13 with 15 minutes left and down 9 starting the 4th. Of a glass-half-full, be glad the Magic fought back.

You're missing the point.

Everyone here is happy Orlando fought back but this is a thread about the last 30 games, not last night.

Last night's game was Game-1 of the last 30 games. And if Orlando needed to go 18-12 over those for a non-losing record; it's now 17-12.

Personally I would rather Orlando go 17-12 with most wins close than to blow out 17 teams and lose bad to another 12 games. Why? Because it means the team is growing Heart.
