If they only played like this here?

T. Harris 22 points
C. Frye 15 points
If they had only played like that here?
So is it just the "I will show them" energy or is it their new offensive system?
For Frye, I know, its King James.
Could our offense be better then what we have with Skiles?

Damn, I just realized that I joined RealGM way back in 2001.
How time flies when your losing.

Now they play for coaches/teams that are not Scott Skiles. So even coach Lebron is doing better job to get best from players

You mean like how Tobias put up a similar stat line on 1/22? 12/21? 12/18? 11/27? 11/21? 11/13? 11/6? 10/30?

Channing also had several 14-17 point nights for the Magic this season.

Everyone needs to step off the ledge already.

They did play like that here; but consistency was/is the issue and their fit/lack of defense on the team. If we had better playmakers that knew how to find Frye, I think he would've been a lot more productive for us. Everyone knew playing with Bron & Kyrie was going to open a lot of looks for Frye and he delivered last night.

With all that said, it's only 1 game.

First, Channing is surrounded by much better talent so naturally he's going to look better. Also, Tobias did the same thing when he was traded here. Blew up then leveled off. I like Tobes and I hope he does well in Detroit, but he needs an elite player to be paired with.

I think Van Gundy will get the best out of Tobias. In fact I think maybe the only player he didn't get the best out of here was probably Rashard. And that's only because a lot of Rashard's offensive skill set actually resided in his post game and our offense was built around Dwight posting up and keeping the floor spread. There wasn't much room for people other than Dwight to post up.

Harris beat up a fatigued sixers on the 2nd night of their back to back. You're welcome, Harris.

Difference being the other teams create more space for Harris and Frye to use their strengths. In Orlando, Harris and Frye played with a crowded back court where they didn't have the space to create or get open shots.

Yep. Shard was used mainly as a stretch (4) in Orlando.

You mean Lebron one of the best players that has ever played ? He even makes delevendova look great ! Frye is doing what he does best shoot open threes . When you have teammates that demand so much attention you will get open . Frye didn't fit our team because our players were not enough of a threat offensively to get him open looks and he can't get open by himself .
As for Tobias he had 22 against philly and also he just fits with the players on Detroit much better !

Dude it's not rocket sience to use Frye , Skiles failed at doing so . Lebron is willing and gifted passer so it comes to him naturally to find guys like Frye. HOWEVER it was Skiles job to find better/bigger role for Harris and Frye in offense if you know how low was Oladipo shooting at times and how Fournier was overused ( and bad at SG at times ).

Harris is even worst/better example of how much SKiles underused and missused him forcing him to stay on left corner 80% of time for catch and shoot, something that he struggled to do trough whole career

He's averaging 18.3 in 4 games. He averaged 17.1 last year. If he keeps 18.3 up, that would be about where you'd expect him to be in his development. The 13.7 he had this year was clearly a anomaly and/or product of Skiles. All our main offensive options have seen their points go down under Skiles (Tobes, Vic, Nik). Except Evan. Skiles loves him some Evan.

When frye was on our team defenders would never leave him open because they were not worried about any of our other players on offense.
Harris was being misused here and that i can agree with but either way Harris was the odd man out on our team so i dont have a problem trying to use the money we had invested in him into another player in a position of need for us like point guard .

Don't forget about Marcin. Severely underutilized while he was here....but for the same reasons you already mentioned.

This is rediculous. He has two of the best players in the world and possibly one of the greatest of all time playing with him now. Your comment is like saying,

"Dude, it isn't rocket science to being the best. You just need to be 6'9, built like a linebacker but mobile like a WR while having the passing skills of Magic and the fire / charisma of Jordan. Is that so hard!?"

Or is it Skiles fault that Lebron doesn't play for Orlando?

No but phoenix had a much better team than what the magic currently have. especially on offense. i dont know whats so hard to understand how frye is better when he is on a team with better offensive players.
