Official Draft Prospects Thread...

Team is looking like they're going to miss the playoffs... So might aswell get started with the offseason.

This draft looks relatively weak. But I have had my eyes on this guy recently. Looks to be a gem if he makes the jump this season.

Stephen Zimmerman [UNLV]: 10.7 Points, 9.7 Rebounds, 2.1 Blocks, 0.8 Assists...

Yes, I know many here wouldn't be to thrilled if the Magic actually kept the pick. But I would love to have this guy if a team like Milwaukee didn't take him first.

I think Zimmermann would be a good draft pick for us because He offers shotblocking and plays defense. We need a center like this because vucevic doesn t offer that

It depends from the way the front office will go
May be they want a big .Labissiere ,chriss ,jones, rabb, davis ,bryant
May be a pg .Jackson,baldwin.
May be a wing.Valentine, hield, korkmaz ,luwawu ,beasley ,cordinier.

A lot of interesting players, henny has a tough choice to make .

I was hoping that skal isn't about to do what i think he is about to do (BLOW UP IN THE TOURNAMENT).... cuz i wanted him to fall to us as a late lotto pick! We'll see how it goes... both the rest of his season and ours!

I know the odds are incredibly low but imagine if we somehow get a top 2 pick and can snatch Ingram or Simmons  Would we consider trading the pick or would we be crazy to do so for possible future stars? Chances are low but it would just be fun to see how high are loyalty and confidence in Mario is.

Yea thats quite unlikely to happen but If it did I would think we would shop the pick but I doubt anyone would give up what we would want to pull the trigger. To give a team Simmons we would have to be getting a star back. I can't think of a team that would make sense for.

I'd probably keep it. Develop Ingram or Simmons. Have the ability to keep a star player for 8 years whereas someone like Boogie may be a 2 year ordeal. But, I'd be okay too if they wanted to accelerate this rebuild and go that route.

I would not trade it for Cousins. No way. But what if say Anthony Davis said he was unhappy in New Orleans and wanted to move. You wouldn't offer up that pick for him? Its all unlikely to happen, this is just for conversation.

GM Hennigan would trade Orlando's full roster to gain Davis. Basically for Davis, The Pelicans could request any asset combinations under all contexts, and Orlando agrees.

If Orlando gets the 3rd pick, Bender is a great idea. And if Orlando slots lower, then Skal Labissiere is a perfect concept. Either is a fit to the team.
