This was a great team win but Vuc seemed to shine the brightest. So glad he's back. He gets my vote for the vest.

Now allow me to be salty for a moment. Y'all m'fers just robbed EP of 2 sweater vests because he didn't score the most points in the game and now you're about give Vuc another one extending his lead. This makes me salty. I am salty.

Drew scores 24 points on 100% (9-9) shooting and just narrowly squeaked out a vest last time.

Vuc scores 24 tonight on 80% (12-15) shooting and it's a landslide so far.

Bit of a discrepancy there...

That's not to say that Vuc doesn't deserve it - he was a big help off the bench. But I think Nicholson's gravity was really helping to open up shots for Vuc tonight, too.

Gotta go with my man Vuc. Came off the bench and looked like he just came back from lunch break. Couldnt tell he was injured. I thought he was going to have rust or something but came in and didnt miss a step.

I didn't mean that to discredit Vuc - he hit his shots, got himself open, made passes and made plays. He absolutely earned the vest tonight.

But in tonight's game (which this vest is for - not the entire season), I most certainly think that Nicholson's presence was helping Vuc get shots. Nicholson had 2 assists to Vuc, so it's absolutely ridiculous to say that Nicholson didn't help him get shots. But beyond that, Nicholson was constantly keeping his man busy, as well as drawing double teams - which included Vuc's man.

And I equally think Vuc's presence was good for Nicholson's game, too, and helped him get better looks and a close range outlet.

The key run was in the third. Oladipo, Payton and Fournier were the three present for the full 14-5 burst; Vučević only caught the very tail end of that. In that run, Payton was a major part of that and was for me marginally more key that Fournier.

totally bogus logic. reason nicholson squeaked the vest because gordon played almost as good if not better game that day, there was competition. today there was no competition, so a landslide. I swear you guys nitpick the most ridiculous things about vuc and I do not know why.

What are you talking about. Gordon definitely deserved his votes and a close poll between him and Nicholson was a given. The game was over by halftime when we were up 28 pts... AG had 14 pts on 7/8 fg and was +14 against the Nets' crappy starting unit and AN had 14 pts on 6/6 fg and +14 against their biggest scrubs. We had a 30 pt lead through 3 quarters and Gordon had 20 pts on 9/11 fg and was +19 while Nicholson still had 14 pts on 6/6 fg and dropped to +11. Clearly Nicholson should have won in a landslide because he got to score a handful more buckets in garbage time in the 4th while AG got to chill on the bench the entire quarter... SMH.

If anything, Fournier is the loser here. He scored 25 on 14 shots and was +19, yet he's in 3rd place... surely he deserves more than 5 out of 42 votes.
