The Pistons can clinch their first winning record in eight seasons by beating the Magic for a sixth straight time Wednesday night. Detroit has averaged 116.2 points and shot 43.4 percent from beyond the arc during their five-game winning streak versus Orlando.

The Magic are out of postseason contention, but they've won four of five while averaging 118.6 points after beating Memphis 119-107 on Sunday.

"I think we're getting a lot of simple buckets, as in transition and finding the open man and getting good looks or getting open shots," said guard Victor Oladipo, who had 22 points Sunday. "We're just hitting shots at a high level right now. We just gotta continue to keep moving the ball, keep defending and let the defense create for the offense."

Having Nikola Vucevic back has certainly helped. The center is averaging 23.7 points over the last three games after missing 13 with a right groin strain. That stretch included sitting out last month's loss to Detroit.

Vucevic has 20.7 points and 10.7 rebounds per game over his last three versus the Pistons, including 20 and 14 in a 111-97 home loss March 27, 2015.

Vucevic became the 2nd player in Magic history to score 20+ off bench in 3 straight games (Reynolds, Mar. 1991)

The Magic have scored 110+ points in each of their last 5 games, tied for 3rd-longest such streak in team history.

Nice thread! I am not showing the Magic game airing on FS Florida tomorrow and instead getting the Miami Marlins game. Does anyone know what channel it is going to be on?

That is the most fiendish face I have seen of Scott Skiles. Looks like the Green Goblin.

I would be very disappointed if people boo Harris. He did a lot of great things in the community and was nothing but a professional the whole time he was here and when he got traded. I didn't think he fit the team and would get frustrated with his play sometimes, but I have always liked Tobias as a person and wished more NBA players handled themselves the way he does.

Even though I never really liked his game there is no reason not to cheer him, he was a class act when he was here and he didnt ask to leave.

Especially for his age too. Its impressive how mature he is at just 23 yo. Players his age after being traded let their emotions and youth get to them and sometimes talk bad about the franchise or players for trading him. He has never said such thing. True class act. Damn it, I miss him again

Great thread OrlandO once again! I agree on the fact that Tobias should not be booed at all when he gets announced here in Orlando tonight. He was a consummate professional during his time with the Magic and was very involved in the community. I don't miss him though. His game just did not fit with our roster and his departure opened up minutes for AG and Andrew along with freeing up our cap space.

I want to see Orlando continue to play spoiler these last few games and continue to keep the game simple as we have been doing these past 5 games. I completely missed the Memphis game, I will not miss this one.

The crowd will not boo Harris, he was as professional as they come and gave us all plenty to cheer about.

That said, I hope we deny Detroit a winning record in our house and by 10+ points.

I'm booing the **** out of Tobes just like I boo everyone else, I'm sure all of those guys are consummate professionals too. Nothing personal. I'm going to applaud the players on the Orlando Magic and boo the players on the Detroit Pistons team. Plus I want to see AG dunk on someone.

I'll be at the game this one is gonna be tough but I think we can pull it out if we contain drummound somehow. With tobes I won't boo or cheer cause he isn't with our team anynore. I don't cheer anyone who is not on our team u less it's a magic lifer like jameer, hedo, etc. I liked tobes but as someone said earlier I don't miss him.

I'd let Drummond go one on one all night and worry about everyone else. Without Vooch Drummond hung 30 on us with no big bodies to contend for rebounds.

Guess we are really riding out this momentum. I agree with the move. If it aint broke, dont fix it. Even as a starter, Dedmon avg less minutes then Mario. Vuc will still be out there 30+.

Very similar to what Miami is doing, bringing Whiteside off the bench playing starter minutes.

Not really. Besides the fact they are both big man, everything else is different. Vuc is an offensive minded C that is coming in to give us a scoring punch. Whiteside is a defensive big who comes in for defense, lobs, blocks, etc. With us, Whiteside would be our Dedmond and be starting and Vuc could still be coming off the bench. That would be nasty. Not many teams have the luxury of bringing a C like Vuc off the bench. The Thunder are the only ones that come to mind with Kanter. Similar role to what Vuc is doing now. Sign Durant and we the Thunder of the East? Book it!

Thats why I keep advocating to sign whiteside. Im sure RH is already planing on this but its still a long shot he picks us. Would be a hell of a team but we will prob have to settle for Dwight.
