FINAL GAME OF THE SEASON
The Hornets have won the last two, including a 107-99 home victory on March 16 as Batum and Marvin Williams each scored 26.
Orlando's Victor Oladipo averaged 27 points in those defeats, but he and Aaron Gordon are likely to miss a third straight game due to concussion symptoms. Fellow starter Nikola Vucevic (groin, leg) may also sit out the season finale for a team that has had some too little, too late success.
The Magic have won six of nine following a 10-30 stretch that took them out of playoff contention. Still, Orlando will post its highest win total since 2011-12 in coach Scott Skiles' first season at the helm.
"We're going the right way," point guard Elfrid Payton told the team's official website. "I honestly thought that everybody in this locker room got better (from last) summer and I expect the same thing this year."
Payton, averaging 8.6 assists in the last 11 games, has been joined in the backcourt lately by rookie Mario Hezonja with Oladipo sidelined. The No. 5 overall pick had 19 points along with career highs of seven assists and five steals in Monday's 107-98 win over Milwaukee.

"I love to get everybody involved," Hezonja said. "When I score, I'm alone. But if I can get everybody involved, then I'm even more happy. So that's what it's all about."

Noooo the end is near! At least 2k16 will keep me entertained for a bball fix somewhat. Anyone got it on the PS4? I play MyPark and Pro AM quite a bit if anyone is interested. My PSN ID is Phrostyz, feel free to add me.

This season really flew by. Shoutout to everyone who created game threads and everyone who participated in them and provided entertaining conversation before, during and after the games. We all may not always get along but we all want to see the Magic win which is why I try to respect everyone on this board.
This season did not go as we would have liked but a 10 game improvement from last season is nothing to sneeze at and it does show at least we are finally trending in the right direction. I feel very optimistic about this offseason mainly because I really like how we have been winning games as of late and feel this will carry over to next season.
Finish this season with a win and let's dominate the offseason!

I get the sentiment, but Orlando winning doesn't hurt Charlotte that much. Charlotte is stuck at 5 or 6 regardless.

Always want to win, but don't want to help the Heat under any circumstances!

Nikola Vucevic (groin) said he intends to play tonight against the Hornets. He went through shootaround today.

Well damn, still should be a good fight from them tonight and not a rest them all situation.

Be a nice guy Skiles and bring Vuc off the bench please. I want to see the Magic experiment with that rotation a bit more.

I had a dream last night that Nicholson literally had a torture chamber and was shoving people in an iron maiden, among other things. Made me wake up laughing

Anxiously waiting for AG to give the Hornets and us Magic fans a sneak peek on how beastly he is going to end up being down the line.

game is on at 5:30 on the west coast...not sure if that's tape delay or just a late start for some reason
