So, not who will be drafted where, but how do you think the (possibly rigged, probably not rigged) lotto will turn out?

If you remember last year, there was no movement all the way up until the 4th spot where the Lakers moved to 2nd and the Knicks moved back to 4th.

The year before, Cavs moved all the way up to the 1st spot from the 9th spot while everybody else before just moved back a spot.

What do you win if you're correct?

I feel like the Pelicans are going to get lucky after being decimated for a season and AD will get a running mate, Celts get the luck of the Irish, Sixers sort of gets screwed but not really because they will get the Lakers pick (I think it's top 3 protected?) which falls into the 4 spot, so they get 2 picks back to back. PHX and MIN go down a spot and the rest stay the same.

What say you?

I'm gonna swing for the fences and hope/guess that the basketball gods reward the Magic for at least trying to be competitive this season. I also think that they will equally spite Hinkie by giving the 6ers some bonuses.

On my first 2 simulations Lakers drop to 4 so Philly gets their pick. It would be great for us as we would get Lakers 2018 pick that way.

We need the Lakers to drop out of the top 3. Would be huge for us.

Agreed. With their ownership I don't expect them to be winning anytime soon, especially without this pick.

I don't know if it's cheating or not, but I got this off of the simulator that someone posted earlier in this thread. I think it was my 42nd try, only twice were Magic in top 3. Mostly at 11, occasionally at 12.

Why is that?

Lottery rules, I am not very good at these lottery rules BUT I think it's like this:

Spots 4-15 I are determined by the regular season standings and only the top 3 are drawn. The lowest 3 teams have the most chances of landing the top 3 spots as they have the highest number of lottery balls and most often do get the top 3 spots, but sometimes a team in the 4-15 range beats the odds and jumps into the top 3 and one of the three lowest seeded teams drops down.

If that's wrong somebody will most def. correct me.
