Now that the Magic have hired Frank Vogel, that could change things...

What would you like to see the team do?

Draft: Who to draft, or what to do with the draft pick?

Free Agency: Who to sign, who to let go?

Trades: Any trades?

Final Roster: Up to you.

What would you like to see the team do?

Defend, Run and Gun

Draft: Who to draft, or what to do with the draft pick?

A PF/C that can run,defend,Block and shoot 3s

Free Agency: Who to sign, who to let go?

Now that we have vogel, i really think that we ll go hard after Horford, an experienced vet that can run, defend,Block and shoot 3s, if we miss on horford stay put
Match Evan
keep Smith and Ded
Dont go crazy on FA, keep cash for 2017 Free Agency
QO to AN

Trades: Any trades?
if u can trade for a top player, yes, why not

Final Roster: Up to you.

Small ball Lineup

Dipo
Evan
Mario
AG
Horford

Standard Lineup

EP
Dipo
AG
Horford
Vuc

Roster
EP,Dipo,CJ
Dipo,Evan,Mario
AG.MArio,Evan
Horford,AG,Smith,AN
Vuc,Horford,Smith,Ded

basically, same as what we have now, we already made our biggest signing of the off season

Horford and Conley would be a dream. As for draft, Luwawu or Skal if we have faith in Vogel's ability to develop potential.

Simple plan, sign either
Conley or Rondo (priority 1), then sign Horford. Draft Thon Maker.

Vogel has said the Magic are going to run. That is the style. We should draft a PF that can run and block shots. For that reason I think our targets are Chriss or Davis. For free agency I feel we should target Batum and Whiteside. Considering they are both less then 7 years in the league the combined max for both of them should be somewhere around $45 million which is our cap space amount. Then go over the cap to sign back Jason Smith and Evan Fornier.

What would you like to see the team do?

Play exactly like Vogel explained in several interviews -- fast, defensive minded and be aggressive and use their athleticism to get to the rim, if not, we need to hit open shooters at the three point line.

Draft: Who to draft, or what to do with the draft pick?

Skal, Chriss or Davis -- I'd be okay with Maker if we've had thorough scouting on him -- I won't doubt our scouting team. Trade it only if it's a good deal.

Free Agency: Who to sign, who to let go?

Keep Fournier unless it's an unreasonable contract -- don't need him for a crazy amount of money. Go after Durant, Batum (let Fournier go if we get Batum), Whiteside, Horford or Bazemore. If any contract is crazy unreasonable, stand pat with the roster and let the team grow.

I would definitely go after Horford and Conley, but I honestly don't think either will come here. A lot of teams have money and they both come from teams that have been very good lately, and I don't know if they would want to sign with a team that has had such a terrible past few years, even with the Vogel hire. I know Dwight is an option, and honestly he's probably the best chance of landing a big free agent, but I'm not going to put him on my list. If it happens then it happens, but I don't even want to think about that right now.

What I would do is try to sign a few good players to help make the playoffs with and then try to make a big splash in 2017 free agency. This gives Vogel time to work with what we have, and helps us see who is worth keeping. So that also means I wouldn't consider trading anybody until the trade deadline for that very reason.

Draft: Take the best big man available. Right now I like Davis and Chriss. 2nd round, just take a couple of guys to stash in Europe or D-League, pray you might get lucky with one.

Free Agency:
- Resign Evan Fournier - I like Evan a lot more than most around here, but he was given too much free reign under Skiles. I think we would be crazy to not bring back a 23 year old who scores like he can though. If anything you do what you did with Tobias, sign him and trade him if you want, except with Hennigan making the deal, not Skiles.
- Sign Ian Mahinmi. Gives us a good defensive big off the bench and is a Vogel guy.
- Sign another wing. I don't want to sign someone like Parsons to a giant contract to. Go after someone like Bazemore or Evan Turner, who will probably sign a 2-3 year deal at a decent price. I'll go with Turner for now just since he's another Vogel guy.
- Bring back Nicholson or Smith. I rather go with Nicholson.

Line up

Vuc/Mahinmi/Dedmon
AG/Rookie/Nicholson
Fournier/Turner
Oladipo/Mario
Payton/CJ

Draft an athletic quick big who can block shots and shoot 3s or Dejounte Murray, super high on him.

Resign Evan

Sign Durant and Horford at midnight (as some posts have predicted)

Win summer league chip.

Watch Harvey become the next Steph Curry.

Win 2017 Chip.

Fin

Either start Mario at the 3 or sign someone like Bazemore to start at the 3.

Sign Mahinmi he'd fit in here perfectly.

I like your plan all except Id take smith over drew. Smith at times played some incredible defense.

Not only that but he wants us to sign another swingman when we already have 3 players that will eat up a big chunk of minutes (Evan, Dipo & Mario) and we also have Marble if something goes wrong with those 3. Besides that, we also have CJ who can play SG and Aaron who can play SF.

Didn't realize he was that short, he holds his own against much bigger guys then. But I don't think we can start Fournier at the 3 is all I'm saying, if we're going the "AG is a 4 route".

Don't think it is so laughable to want a small forward on the roster after Mario other than Marble.

i dont think it is laughable, i just think Bazemore is more SG than SF. Atlanta just couldnt have Korver guarding SF's as he would have gotten destroyed more than he was at SG.

Laughable part wasn't directed at you. You may be right about KB, just thought he looked/played bigger than that, kinda surprising.

I feel we definitely need to go after Batum and if we can't get Whiteside we need to get Bismack Biyombo

I also don't think Fournier should be starting at 3 but if we plan to keep him (and I'm positive we will, unless Nets offer the max), I'm like 99% sure he'll start as a SF (Elf-Vic-Evan-AG-Vuc).

So basically out of 96 swingman minutes, I expect Vic to take 35, Evan 35, Mario 24 and Marble 2 (fouling, crunch time defense etc.)

I'm sorry if you got the wrong impression, I wasn't laughing at you, just sayin' we won't need another swingman.

No worries. Part of me hopes they offer Fournier that deal.
