OT: Shameless Promotion, Social Media Thread
Posted: Thu Jun 2, 2016 11:45 pm
If I remember correctly, we had this thread a few years ago and it was pretty cool -- had a bunch of us supporting each other and our endeavors and had us following each other on social media.
So use this thread to plug whatever endeavor you're working on or anything you'd like to promote, even if you have nothing just link a restaurant or something and maybe we'll all go to it and check it out.*
*Unless whatever you're directly promoting is going to be monetized as far as being a pay-for-click or anything like that, that's a no-no.
For those who enjoyed my basketball writing on the Toronto gamethread, I started my personal basketball website again:
http://thedoublescreen.com/
It's going to have a bunch of not super serious takes on basketball, and pretty much whatever I feel like getting off of my chest that is entertaining to me. Think netw3rk or Shea Serrano rather than anything analytical like Lowe or to a crazy extent, Seth Partnow. You can support it by just bookmarking it or subscribing to the website so it alerts you when I post something, or clicking the icons at the bottom of the page and following it on social media (Twitter/FB).
Also for anybody who's into gaming, I write for EquityArcade (https://www.facebook.com/equityarcade) -- a growing gaming/media website out of Brooklyn, so if you're into that sort of content you might want to check it out!
I know a lot of you like Adam have a really good website that more people should know about, and a few of you make music, design, or do some pretty interesting work that we'd love to learn more about.
Or you can simply just drop a few social media links if you're interesting and want us to follow you.
