We fans have loads of thoughts on what Orlando might look like. I ask another question: can GM Hennigan possible solve Orlando's roster dilemmas?

Will Orlando have a firm base moving forward after the FA and draft interval?

You seem to think we have a glaring need to upgrade at pf and I disagree. Gordon is a future star and will be one in a few years once he fills out. He will be one of the best power forwards in the NBA because he combines strength and speed and athleticism. His jump shot is coming along as well.

The one area where we just might need an upgrade is pg but I'm in no hurry to replace Payton unless we can somehow convince Conley to come here.

Which ones? Our confused offensive hierarchy? Our lack of interior defense, physicality and toughness? Our tendency to play selfish basketball? Our inability to get to the FT line? No, not unless we make some personnel moves.

I don't view the structure of the team to be a serious dilemma. I believe Rob and Frank find ways to fill voids that help the team gel better and progress. At no point soon do I see them having to make a decision between two serious alternatives. Atleast not ones that would change our identity.

If there's a trade to send off Vuc and or Payton then maybe, but I don't really see one there right now.

I can't really pick either. We do have the assets but just not sure if this is the summer that we will get what we wanted as their are a bunch of teams that have money to spend. We will have to see but we might have to wait another year. Though we could still make the playoffs next year though whether we become a contender is seriously up for debate.

Soon. Maybe one year out.

We're close. If Vogel develops some of our core like we hope and we add a couple pieces we should be in the playoffs next year.

I think this is the year we'll finally start locking down on who our priorities are, and who best supports them.

We can't continue to deny youth the chance to develop and take on more substantial roles.

I think this summer we'll make some key additions (defensive C and more veteran experience). From there, Vogel will give us a better indication of how far off the ceiling is for Gordon, Payton and Hezonja.

We are not a good team as constructed right now. We do have good young talent everywhere but as a team we are weak in several areas. Our outside shooting is pretty poor which hurts our spacing and makes it harder for our guys to move the ball or for guys like Dipo or Payton to drive the ball. On defense we lack a much in the way of a good interior presence. So yes we have guys across the board that are good young prospects we lack in several key areas that hurt us on offense and defense. So we do need to shuffle things around and I could see us getting anew center or a new PG or a more well rounded wing who can shoot as well as play D. Hezonja has potential there but we could use more 3 and D types.

yeah I doubt Cleveland would do that and not sure if New Orleans would do that. I would be ok with it for us butnot too thrilled about it for us. Not a big fan of Kyrie as that much of an upgrade over what Payton could be. Asik is better defensively then Vuc but not sure if he is that much of an upgrade overall on Vuc.

1) We're just 6 wins away last season from becoming a winning team.

2) I think we have a balanced team if we utilize them correctly. We just need another big, IMO which I think is very doable.

EP/Ola/Hezonja

I think this season is make or break for some of our players. The team needs to judge namely Vuc's defense, Dipo's consistency and EP's shooting. If they improve significantly, they stay. If not, it's time to go (to another team or to the bench) for at least two of them.

Magic already have the key ingredients for success in Vooch, AG, Mario and Dipo. They just need a deeper bench and support system to thrive.
