I believe The Magic have had three different sideline reporters in three years.

Jessica Blaylock is now doing Florida Marlins Games after a few years with The Magic.

Kelly Nash moved on to MLB Network after a year.

Emily Austen has now been fired. Not sure if she was here just last season or the past two which would make it 3 reporters in 4 years.

I wonder who the next one will be.

If you have a job in the media, you have to watch what you say these days but the comments she made especially the one about Mexicans were very insensitive and am glad she got the ax.

Man... you'd think for someone who deals with media so much she would know better.

Still think she and Fournier had something going on on the side. Yo, but good on Fox Sports for being quick and deliberate. Should be no tolerance for that kind of sentiment.

I like the Mackenzie Thirkill girl for Orlando City. She does a good job for them and is way better than Emily Austin, who I always thought was terrible. Mackenzie isn't too bad looking either, so I wouldn't mind seeing her do interviews.

I was never high on Emily Austen and this is really going to hurt her career.

I understand why as a business they have to fire her because they cannot condone such a behavior and environment-even if they don't the perception is what matters to the customers, but as a human I sometime feel ashamed and somewhat hypocritical. If I criticize her how wrong she was, I know I would bring judgment on myself because I know I too say things that can be hurtful to harmful and seem offensive. So, I get it saying things you regret. I do hope she understand the severity of her comments. Maybe it will be a time to reflect and learn and I hope in everything that she comes back as a stronger and more learned individual when it comes to understanding people and their strengths and I really hope that she continues in this field, if that is her passion because we all ask for mercy and a chance of redemption.

As for the Kevin Love comments, although I think that was mean, but before anyone get on their high horse and steps on air when they fall down, some of y'all sweet and gentle individuals like to say sweet things about basketball players on the game threads. So, you should completely understand her and understand her guilt after saying it.

Hurt is an understatement, this is something you never really bounce back from unless you're like Shaq or Barkeley or someone.

We've all said racist things in our lives, and we have the freedom to do so, at least at this moment in time in America.

However, you're not free from consequences if your employer doesn't like the things you say. Hard for me to feel sorry for her since making these comments, in jest or not, showed a total lack of self-awareness.

She messed up. Really badly. FOX Sports Florida had no choice.

Howard is correct, it's been 3 different sideline reporters the past 3 years.

I was unaware that I said we were free from our consequences but okay.

She should have been fired for poor performance anyways.

FSFL needs to get someone in here who can speak in coherent sentences.

She could always go the off-broadway route and star in a modernized version of The King's Speech.

She's probably gearing up for a run at politics next. She's ticking all the boxes so far, apart from the multiple millions of dollars to fund your own campaign. Maybe Fournier can help her on that front?

She should go into porn now, might be her only route if she wants to be in front of a camera.
