Great offseason

Brilliant offseasom so far. Biggest signing by far was Frank Vogel. What a unexpected surprise that was.also getting serge was a coup.if he was a free agent this season he would have been maxed no doubt.we have a chance to see what hes got before paying him next year now.also re signing evan on freindly deal was great.

Only move I haven't liked is the Ibaka deal and I can't wait to be proven wrong about that.

That will come to fruition when you see what Oladipo is going to get paid next year.

This offseason has only made me excited for next offseason. Very underwhelming in my opinion.

Nothing. The contracts being handed out are beyond ridiculous. I'm glad the magic are playing no part. Save for next year when the real free agents come into play.

Feel like its all starting to fall in place. We upgraded the coach, got more experience, more shooting, more depth, got our rim protector and havent lost any flexibility. A+.

Everyone keeps talking about next years "better" free agents...

I am excited and its only day 1 of free agency. Magic have a ridiculously versatile roster with the new additions. Most of our players can play multiple positions and we our deep at every position (if we resign a C). Vogel and Forcier to guide this team is the cherry on top.

Remember how many close games we lost last year? The Magic are coming for the playoffs and we may have home court come game 1. GO MAGIC!

Great is a strong word. I would say it's been a very solid offseaso, but no great splashes or anything, which is better than doing something stupid. Just tuning the roster but not getting any new shiny parts

Nothing that makes us dive into the third round of the playoffs.
But nothing totally stupid was done.
So that's cool.
The continued player improvements this year + next offseason should determine our franchise's fate for the next 5-10 years.

2017 free agents list:

Russell Westbrook :)
Serge Ibaka :-?
JJ Redick

Agreed! So far we've added Ibaka, Meeks, Augustin, Green, Vogel, Forcier, and Williamson.

I can't believe the turnaround from the Skiles regime. This offseason has been ace. Not to mention not blowing it all on two players. If we add Mahinmi, it would be a solid 45-50 win team, with 50 million to spend next summer.

Bravo Rob. Bravo.

Gotta wonder if we're grooming some of our young guys to be bench players instead of starters.
In anticipation of recruiting FA's next year.

Its been a good Off-season in retrospect... Frank Vogel (Top Tier Coach)... Got a Stretch 4/Rim Protector, resigned Fournier to an pretty damn good deal, added vets who will be expiring next offseason, and the biggest thing was that they didn't sign ANYONE to a long term deal that would tie the Magic up to mediocrity. This was a pretty business savvy/successful free-agency for the immediate future and long term.

I don't know about great offseason, but i'm excited for the season to start. Curious and anxious to see how it all comes together.

I'll be buying tickets for the home opener in October.

According to the wiretap, were still in the mix for Mahimini too. We sign him and our front court depth would be outstanding.

It was not practical for Orlando to keep Oladipo and Fournier. As one was "going" to be shipped, that Orlando snagged Ibaka is a very good upgrade.

It was also a very good deal for OKC, as the team gained PF depth as well as a starting SG.

This is a win-win trade for both teams that makes for good will going forward.
