Having his salary off the books makes the most sense given our FA additions to the roster. At least the team doesn't have to eat his salary by cutting him.

Figured something like this would happen. With Payton, DJ, and CJ in front of him, he was never going to play. It's interesting how Portland and even Detroit seem to be common trade partners for the Rob. He must have a good relationship with both of those front offices.

this is the second year in a row he has been bought by another team, and really the third if you count the fact that the Heat bought the pick to take him in the first place.

We are paying Portland his salary masked as "cash considerations" but yes his salary is officially off our books. Smart move by Henny to gain a roster spot and to add a few more dollars to our Cap.

Yeah... I think he's a horrible GM And a sub-par leader as well. He's just so darn talented it usually doesn't matter.

Shabazz Napier did not work out here but The Magic are essentially making the same deal here as they did with Miami to get him.

No harm, no foul and now a roster spot opens up.
