Browsing the latest edition of SLAM and I noticed that the Magic's pinstriped uniforms of the mid 90s won a fan poll of greatest uniforms of the SLAM era. Quite an honour IMO and it led me to wonder, should we bring these uniforms back permanently or are they best as a throwback classic that appears every so often?

What's the general consensus?

I would prefer our classic uniforms, with a modern take on the font used at the time.

Because while those unis are awesome, the 'Orlando' and 'Magic' font is a bit dated. It could use a tasteful re-make, while remaining true to the source material.

Look at the Knicks and Jazz. They did a great job of taking classic uniforms and giving them minor updates.

I think the jerseys we have now are basically an updated version of the old school pin stripe look. I love the black alternates. I think those should be our primary road jerseys with the blue as an alt

On this forum and in the consciousness of Magic's fans, yes, but there seems to be more of a national awareness now especially since the ESPN 30 for 30 film that brought the Shaq Penny thing back into view as well as the SLAM poll I mentioned above.
