Yeah this is always the worst part of the year. Post summer league pre pre-season. We have olympics which is nice, and the CBA will be a hot topic, hopefully that goes through smoothly. We also have the season schedule coming out in the next few weeks.

Assuming our first pre season game is Tue, Oct 18 (It probably wont be but thats all that is announced at the moment. We have 84 days to go from here. Doesn't seem as bad when its put like that, but it'll feel like eternity soon once the FA hype cools off.

At least NFL season is about to start! Hoping Jameis can take the Bucs to the playoffs.

Exacerbating the issue is the fact that nearly all the news today is bad news. There's less to occupy us.

I was thinking...it's funny how Oladipo get's criticized when he's with us by plenty of doubters on whether or not he can be the face of a franchise, maybe he'll get an all-star appearance or two, but then he goes to OKC and it's like he's the prototypical guard from heaven with heaps of upside. (From a media and fan perspective)

Losing Ibaka and KD is going to hurt them way way way more than adding Oladipo, I hope people realize that. I'll be keeping track of Oladipo for sure though, just like I'll be keeping track of Harris. Really enjoyed both of them on our team.

I think the same things would be said of Oladipo in Orlando if we weren't losing that much. Rightly or wrongly, the opinion of Oladipo will sour a bit once OKC starts losing a lot more after losing Durant, Ibaka and soon Westbrook.
