Orlando Magic Media Day

Hey Guys!
I will be attending Media Day on Monday, 9/26. My goal is to try to serve the fans as much as possible. With that in mind I wanted to ask you all: what are you most interested in learning about? What questions would you ask if you were there?
The reality is that Media Day doesn't generally give us a ton, but you can occasionally pick up a nugget here or there. Very specific strategy or injury questions are usually not answered, but more general things are picked up on.
So, send me a list of things you want to know about, I'll add to my list and I'll ask what I can. It can be for a specific player, coach or front office member.
Thanks!
Smitty

Nice, can you ask :
How they envision using Hezonja - for example, will we run a death lineup with him at point, Fournier, Green, Gordon and Biz?
What they are thinking about in terms of minutes allocated to the frontcourt - since it is such a strength?

i think we already know the answer to the "will we see hezonja at the point?" question.

Hezonja - How do you see him being used and how many minutes would you like to see him play in his second year?
Watson - With 3 PG's, how do you see using Watson?
Gordon - If Gordon's shooting becomes a liability at the 3, what do you do?
Jeff Green - Primarily playing the backup 4?
Biyombo - Do you ever expect to try and play BB at the 4 or is he really a pure 5?

Ask both Vogel and Henny about some recent chatter on here... is the plan to immediately start AG or are they possibly considering going with the more experienced Green? The whole experience/salary thing is making some people unsure what the plan is...

I would be interested in learning as much detail as possible about their summer drills and workouts. Not just "what parts of your game did you work on?" If you have a guy who says he worked on his jumper, I'd be interested in the little details of how he worked on it. Did he just take a lot of shots? Did he have a shooting coach who had specific points he emphasized? Did he use any cool tech to break down his mechanics? Did he get most of his shots up before lifting weights or after?
Same thing for the nonskills work. What kind of weight and reps were thye putting up? What kind of cardio work do they do? How well do they watch their diets?
I imagine a lot of this is unrealistic to ask for, but anything in that direction would be cool.

My questions would be directed at Vogel:
-What about the roster didn't he have an appreciation for as an outside observer that he has been pleasantly surprised by since working with the players?
-Does he intend to borrow heavily from what was effective in last year's offense, or is he going to implement a new system? More specifically, how will this year's offense look different from last year's Orlando (or Indiana) offense?
-What is his approach to rotations? Does he view the starters as positions that are earned, or does he prefer to balance personnel for fit? If it's the latter, how well is this received by the players?

They've already answered that several times. The plan is to start Gordon at the 3. They haven't deviated from that even a little since the Biyombo presser and Vogel has mentioned it a couple of times since then.
I'm sure it will come up again. Occasionally teams will give out some sort of depth chart at media day, so we'll see if we get that. I believe Vogel used to do that in Indiana, but I'm not certain of that.

I'd like to know if Vogel sees one or two guys who will be the primary scorers and who will receive the lion's share of FGAs?
What does he think the core identity of the team will be? Defensive, offensive, run and gun, gritty, etc?
What single element does he think will make the biggest difference to the team this year in terms of performance? (Defense, veteran leadership, depth, etc?)
Thanks Smitty.

It was clear that the previous coaching staff didn't believe in Elf. What vision does this staff have for him?

Can you ask Vogel what calf exercises he recommends?

And can you ask him to make CJ Watson do them every day so he wont be out half a season with another calf strain?

Make Vogel re-enact the tooth brush trick he did on Letterman's show!
- Vogel:
Do you think Gordon-Ibaka-Biyombo can work offensively? As of now, who do you think would be the best backcourt to plug in there?
Will Ibaka play small ball center with AG at PF?
Name the duo and trio that you think are going to play well off each other.
Mario:
How does he feel about his lack of involvement in the Olympics and his rookie NBA season? What does he think is the problem preventing him from getting playing time, and how is he working on fixing it?
Gordon:
The Magic are the worst in terms of drawing contact and getting to the FT line. Do you feel you can be that guy that can get 6,7,8 FTs a game?
Vucevic:
How does he feel Biyombo helps Vucevic without sharing the court with him? How does he feel about potentially being substituted early in the first if his defense isn't up to par?
Biyombo:
Does he see the Magic having enough offense to make it to the play offs?
Payton was in the meeting with the FO when they recruited you, what did you two talk about? How does he feel Payton helps him on the court?
