Welcome to the Official Magic RealGM A League Discussion Thread for the 2016-17 season!

Congratulations to the top finishers last year!

...and Congratulations to the 3 additions from the B League who have joined our league!

The competition in this league is the toughest that the RealGM Magic Board has to offer every year. Failure to finish in the top 12 will result in losing a spot and a demotion to the B League as the top 2 finishers of the B League will receive invitations to join the A League.

This year we accepted 3 new challengers because Sweet J has not shown up to check back in for this new season.

So here we go!!!

I won't repeat the settings here since you can find them on the site.

The draft will be held on the forums in classic tradition. The draft order will be snake style and allow for trading. The order is determined by the final standings. If you PM me your cell phone then I will text you when you are OTC. Highly recommend sending me one. It won't be abused. Great means of talking trade too!

Sweet! Harden just got PG eligibility after the news that D'Antoni would use him as a FT PG!

I think its legitimate question
draft order is importand and it determines a lot

I think its legitimate question
draft order is importand and it determines a lot

If you look at the draft order in the OP you will see the change was made a long time ago. It was a legitimate beef.

PM me your email and cell # for text alerts. We also texted about trades quite a lot in this league too, so cell #s are desired.

My top 2 were Curry and Westbrook.

I almost took Westbrook, but I can't resist a D'Antoni powered Harden. He & Curry are my top two. He was a G/F when I drafted him so the PG is just icing on the cake!

Skin, just wanted to note that in the results in the draft thread, even though the third pick was originally mine it was traded to dsg. He's also got my 26th and 166th picks, and I got 7, 22 and 147 from him.

Damn, I was hoping Westbrook would slip one more spot. I think he is going to be the most fun guy to watch in the league this season. Here's hoping CP3 can play like he did last year.

And you're right Edrock.....Harden with D'Antoni at head coach could be scary good for fantasy.
