Excitement got the better of me... I want the game to be tonight, but we have to wait another day (sigh)... so I did the gamethread out of pure excitement over the coming season. If too early, sorry not sorry.

Early word is that he's out for the Memphis game, but they hope to have him play in Cleveland. I think they'll take it a little easy with him in games in hopes of having him fresh for the season.

Some of the guys think there is a chance he might get sporadic rest days throughout the year with the depth on the roster now.

Robbins said on Twitter Elfrid, AG, and Meeks were officially out tomorrow, you heard Ibaka is too? Or just guessing since he hasn't practiced? Just curious.

Well looks like this will be Marios pre-season for the first couple of games. Since MEM wont be on NBATV, any live streams available?

Nothing official on Ibaka. Heard he traveled and the others did not. But they wanted him to play in only 1 of the 2 games. Since he didn't practice today, it seems like the Memphis game is out. We'll see I guess.

I don't think Memphis is broadcasting it either, so best bet is to follow either team's Twitter account and see if they post highlights.

I find it very weird that in this day and age we don't have all preseason games broadcast. Then again, some teams are just now getting all 82 regular season games aired. So weird with the advent of League Pass.

Don't they always black out the FSN broadcast if it's on NBA TV? Either way, for those who don't have NBA TV, it makes it much easier to find a way of watching the game. As opposed if we just had to rely on a jumbo tron.

Hopefully an annoying jumbotron feed is actually available.... better than nothing.

They do all the time when the game is on FS Florida but in the past, some preseason games with no local TV have been blacked out.

Late word is Gordon traveled and supposedly Payton did too. Both could play in Cleveland, but unlikely.

Bummer. Well maybe we can find a stream somewhere. If not, then just have to wait until Cavs on Wednesday. Either way, at least NBA is back!

Yea i forgot about this.. I think it happened last year with one of the games. It was only on nba tv and not broadcasted by fox sports and their was no way of watching the game for people in orlando. I hope that doesn't happen with this game.

Injury Report:

Memphis Grizzlies:
- Marc Gasol is cleared to resume full court activities; Gasol suffered fractured navicular bone in his right foot in February 2016. He is expected to miss some preseason games due to precaution.

- Chandler Parsons continues to undergo rehab for a medial meniscus tear in his right knee that occurred March 2016. He participated in limited practice last week, but he is unlikely to play.

- Deyonta Davis has been limited during training camp and is unlikely to play due to plantar fasciitis in his left foot, first announced in July 2016.

Orlando Magic:
- Aaron Gordon (ankle), Elfrid Payton (hip flexor), and Jodie Meeks (foot) have all been ruled out for the game.
- Serge Ibaka missed the last 4 days of practice due to soreness in his knees. He's listed as day-to-day and has not been ruled out for the game as of today, but John Denton included him as unlikely to play as well.
