They're a lot better, but we should match up well. Serge needs to destroy Saric, Biz makes it tough for Embiid and AG should handle Covington. We need to win this.

We really need this win. I hope we can contain embiid and not let him have a monstorious night against us. Please do not let tj freaking McConnell burn us. We need to play like we did the second half all game in Cleveland to win. Come on magic give me some hope tonight. Go magic

Embiid has been on 20 minute restrictions since the start of the season, although they have a stable of bigs, they are not dominant on the glass yet. Embiid will be available for Tuesday's game against Orlando but will not travel to Charlotte for Wednesday's game against the Hornets. His minutes have been going down and he'll be out the game after this for rest, so expect limited minutes again. Still dangerous.
If someone on the coaching staff does not instruct someone to put a body on Covington all night and we have to watch that scrub light us up I'm going to lose it.
538 has us as underdogs by a smidge.

We need to keep stepping on Embid's foot!

Philly has been more competitive in their 2 games thus far over last season. Vogel needs to right the ship and this should be the first step. A blowout would be very nice.

This will be the first BBall game I get to watch this season as I am now back from vacation.
I think the reason we been losing is cuz I wasn't actively involved.

That's a relief, for a second I just thought our team wasn't very good.

If we lose this convincingly, I might get onboard with the tank. DSJ and Fultz FTW

They play hard, hoping the team won't take them lightly.
Hoping Vogel tries out the lineup from the end of last game some more. I'm all about AG at the 3 but it doesn't have to be for all 48 minutes. Let's get some more looks.

The only remote possibility I see for a loss here is we are cold to start the game and the weight of losing to the 76ers and going 0-4 just tightens the team up even more and we cannot overcome the mental stress of the collapse. Post game interviews the players continue to echo positive thoughts and PR speak about team building meanwhile behind the scenes the team is at each other's throats, Rob is burning the phone lines trying to acquire Moe Harkless from the Blazers and Ish Smith from the Pistons. All the while Martins is in talks with hair oil supplier and oil barron Aubrey McClendon's estate to move the Magic to Seattle and leave Orlando for good after a disastrous 0-4 start.
But we'll probably win. Maybe.

0-4 at the hands of the Sixers will definitely an all time low for our lethargic Magic.

These teams are both OK defensive teams with not good offense. With Philly home and the fans actually cheering for their new guys they might rattle our players. We have the vets but we also don't have a clear cut hierarchy in the offense yet so we could be set up for a disappointment game again.

I can paint that picture for you :
A few rage quits. The usual suspects saying "I told you so, Iamverysmart". Multiple posters crafting elaborate trades to right this ship. At least 26 posts imploring for Rob to be fired. At least 4 posts saying they wish Skiles was the coach again. A posting of Harris and Oladipo's statlines. Me begging the team to play small ball.
That should cover it.
