Pride!

Years ago I was going to box in the Golden Gloves in Sanford.
I had told everyone I knew what I was doing and many came out to see my first fight.
Well the guy I was fighting was beating the crap out of me.
Don't get me wrong, I was giving it back also. But I was getting pounded.
I knew that someone was going to win and someone lose.
I heard them yelling to Knock Him Out and the were talking about me.
I didn't mind losing, but there was no way in hell that I was going to get a TKO in front of all my friends.
It was Pride (in a good way) that keep me in that fight.
It seems that is what is missing in this team. They get behind and there is no pride that says,
I may lose, but I'm not getting knocked out here on my home court in front of all our fans.
I am sure the issue is greater then just pride alone.
But that has to be a starting point. Until they get some it will continue to be "we need to try harder" etc. after a game.
And you cant teach someone to have Pride?

I knew someone years ago who fought Golden Gloves up in Seminole County. Forgot his name. He worked at Sears Home Improvement Products. I hooked him up with some trainers I knew through another co-worker.
Pride can get us past many obstacles we would normally cave in to.

Pride is an amazing thing.
Watch and see Pride in action this Saturday evening when Conor McGregor puts Alvarez to sleep with his left hand in the first round.

I agree. I mean say what you want about our team last year they didn't win many games, but every night you felt like they had a chance and they would fight down to the wire. They had pride and heart. This team I just don't see it. They're just getting blown off the court most nights. This team doesn't seem like they want it. Our team last year at least seemed like they wanted to win and went out and tried to every night. This team doesn't. I could watch every game last year right up till the end. I've wanted to stop watching at half time almost every single game this year.

The hope was that the two guys in your sig would 'up' the physical presence-factor, but so far same ol' same old.

We brought in Skiles to toughen em up, but then everyone freaked out when players were being held accountable and someone was mean to them.

We still have 'Pride' jerseys right? Maybe they can help.

We don't play them together. That's the problem.
Get Vuc out of the starting line up already.
