1. Would you like to see him become a Magic player?
2. What would it take (trade-wise) to acquire him?
3. Would you pay their (Utah Jazz) asking price?

Hayward seems un-tradeable to me.

I don't see Utah trading Hayward for anyone on this roster. He fits their team like a glove. Their GM would be crazy to blow it up when they finally have a strong playoff team. This is more a case of fans wishing for players from other teams.

Well most of the people thought they would suck like last years since they didnt add much to their roster so in theory there was a chance they would suck again which would lead them to trading Hay as they would fear he is going to leave them.
They proved all wrong so now theres zero sense and no chance they trade him now when they finally start winning.
obviously stop dreaming we aint getting him nor is Boston

Any 3 player combination plus either our pick this year or the lakers pick.

1). Me and the other 29 GMs out there.
2). Jazz are not going to trade him and it will take half the young guys and picks which will leave us depleted and nullify the point of the trade bc we should suck.
3). Not worth it. See #2. Any chance of Hayward coming here will be in the offseason. Court him and hope he chooses us. It's not that far fetched. Durant is a pipe dream but Hayward is not as crazy.

I don't even like him all that much. He's another guy who isn't quite good enough to be "the guy" on a team. Wouldn't solve that problem for us. I'm not saying he isn't a good player, or that he wouldn't be our best player if we acquired him. But he's not the star player we want, so there wouldn't be any profit in giving up all our assets for him, even if he was available.

We have literally nothing on this roster that a GM would want for a quality player. All we have are a bunch of role players and journeymen. Our future draft picks are nothing and our future is very bleak. We are not even good enough to compete for the 8th playoff seed. Pathetic. Even a blind man could do a better job running this team than Hennigan.

Who's a better player that you think is obtainable...

I don't know, but it doesn't matter. My point is that going all in on Gordon Hayward isn't the answer. He's a good player, but he's not solving our "need a superstar" problem.

And then this board would become a barren wasteland after he bolts in the summer.

I don't know. The advanced metrics and statistics aren't befitting of the title, but he does impress whenever I watch him. I think a lot of GM's would be happy to try to build a team around him.

I would love to add Gordon Hayward. But why would they trade him?
Vuc + (AG or Mario) + draft picks would be my offer.
But they wouldn't take.

utah wouldnt take anyone from this team for him
They wouldnt want Vuc (gobert), ibaka (favors), elf (george hill and exum), fournier (hood is pretty much same thing)
And i can see you guys saying 2 for 1, but lets say we offered Vuc and gordon, what would they pay 15m for a backup center just to downgrade their SF position?

Never fear.... I'll pull it off! We can give them..... I'll get back to you guys!
But if you see Frank call the same play over and over for Vuc, you'll know something's up.......
