Anyway you could change the thread title to the Erie Bayhawks? The board needs one.

My biggest fear about him is how he will get stronger with that hand/elbow . It will be extra hard work around that.

I'll say it one more time. Zimmerman is a baller no question about it. It all comes down to the arm and can he put on muscle & bulk to play the 4/5 postion in the nba. The dude has some game. It's just that arm that I fear him not being able to get strong enough to play at a high level consistently. He won't be able to do much in the paint if he can't get bigger which then leaves him out on the perimeter more were he isn't a knock down shooter. Maybe he can get their in dew time. But I do like the kids game.

been doing it all his life. If he can do it at high level of college and D-league, i dont think it will stop him now

Zimmerman turned 20 in Sept.
He will put on weight in due time. The skills he shows, that little baseline jumper is really nice.
BTW, he is the same size as Kelly-O from Boston. 7ft /240.

His skills are undeniable. He'll need to bulk up as most have mentioned.

not just him

Tyson Chandler, 7'1 240
Gortat 6'11 240
KAT 7'0 244
Tristan Thompson 6'9 238
Joakim Noah 6'11 230
Myles Turner 6'11 243

like mentioned above, he will out on weight as he ages. he is fine right now, doesnt have to add weight to be effective

We seriously need to send Mario to Erie. We're wasting time giving him DNP's right now.

Maybe, It depends on what he's doing on the bench. If he's being tutored then it's not a bad thing, if he's just there, send him to play

zimmerman with 20 pts, 10 reb, 2 stl, 2 blk tonight. 4th straight 20/10 game

BayHawks' coach Bill Peterson (served as assistant for Bucks and player development coach/scout for Mavs) on Zimmerman: "I keep (saying) he's going to be a really good NBA player. Think he'll definitely be rotation guy.

Apparently Zimmerman's stint in the D league ends tonight. Will be joining the Magic tomorrow.
